GoogleI went into Fenn Wright Witham on the 22nd of June to ask about a property, I was promptly told that unless I was on the market or in a position to move forward it wasn't worth it as they had 20+ viewings fair enough. The chap in the office proceeded to the pester myself to come and value my property, having had the property valued at the beginning of the year I knew what it was worth but the chap was insistant that they be given an opportunity to value it. I said yes out of courtesy and it was booked in for Monday 29th June 2020 at 2.05pm with a call from the Chelmsford branch. I recieved a text to say my market appraisal would be carried out on the 29th June 2020!!! But low and behold no one turned up. I had taken an afternoon off work which is a premium at the moment having being self employed and just able to carry out my job after lockdown and not to mention the tidying and decluttering as you want your property to be seen in the best light. My son was an Estate Agent for 15 years and a senior lister and never failed to arrive at a market appraisal, even if running late a courtesy call was made and circumstances explained. I got the impression from the start that I wasn't taken seriously at the Witham branch, I was in my work clothes and (generally dirty as I'm a builder) the two senior agents in the office were looking down their nose and gave disbelieving looks at each other that I had three quarters of a million pound house. Safe to say they will not be given a second chance to view my property.NegativeProfessionalism

My experience with Fennwrights has been great the staff are nothing but helpful and totally on the ball throughout, Laura is a great asset and has been so friendly and happy never mind the issue she goes that extra mile to sort any problem out. I would highly recommend fennwright to anyone who wants to sell/buy and will definitely use them again should I need to move.

Finally WE GET A HOUSE! We first time buyers & the team at Fenn Wright have been amazing & patient with us, especially Kelsey. After our first experience buying a property, we wanted to give up but the second time has been smooth sailing. Throughout the whole journey’ the team at Fenn Wright have been amazing. Kelsey & Kirsty has provided us with support, kindness, daily updates, shown hard work and friendliness. They unfortunately dealt with a mix of emotions from us but still dealt with us professionally and lots of understanding. Been rooting for us from the beginning, right to the end. We finally get to collect the keys this time round & we can’t thank Kelsey & Kirsty enough. They never gave up & tried their hardest to find our perfect first home. GoogleMy partner and I met Nathaniel today for a new rental property whilst relocating. From the morning of the viewing where we received a courtesy call to confirm the appointment and location, to when we left the property, Nathaniel was nothing short of professional, knowledgable and polite. Any questions we asked, Nathaniel knew the answer. Also during Covid times, all the correct procedures were followed. GoogleThis is not our first time of dealing with Fenn Wright over the years for both purchase and sale and have found service, pricing and customer service very very good. However it was the relationship that we built with Aston that we knew we would get the service we need. he was at a competitors agency when we met him but quickly became affiliated with him and the way he conducted his sale and client relationship, which of course to the advantage of Fenn Wright was when he moved, we obviously followed and put our last house on market with him which he sold (in pandemic) within 3 days!!! That has a lot do to with the negotiator and how he manages the sale all the way through to completion. Never has he "sold and forgot" ..... highly recommend Fenn Wright but also Aston if you are needing an agent in Chelmsford and surrounding areasPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleCould not speak highly enough of Scott and the team and would highly recommend using Fenn Wright to anyone looking to sell their home. We had a particularly difficult sale due to well documented issues around flats and external cladding. I can genuinely say that Scott went above and far beyond in order to help get our sale over the line. He was always on hand to answer our questions and provide updates. Our lives were on hold and without the knowledge and expertise of Scott helping to co-ordinate between all parties I am confident we would not have been able to sell. We had previously been marketing with another agent and the difference when we moved to Fenn Wright was completely night and day. The quality of the marketing brochure was far superior. YellFenn Wright made the difference.
When it comes to comparing estate agents, we've realised that the ability to match a seller to a buyer is perhaps the easy bit. What seems to make the difference is the willingness and ability to keep that deal alive and nurse it through to completion. At Fenn Wright this is just part of the service. They have an amazingly talented and specially dedicated team of sales progression professionals. They're on hand to manage your deal through from initial offer right to handing over the keys. They're probably not the only company to offer this service but you'd do well to find one that does it better. I'm taking time to write this even though I'm not directly one of their customers (but the seller was). Without the personal dedication of their team, I don't know how we would ever have got it over the line. There's definitely a world of difference between what estate agents really deliver and it's here that Fenn Wright make that difference. Special thanks to Tracy Wigens who never gave up.

GoogleAfter being told that all parties were in line and ready to go we were looking forward to moving to our dream property, as we believed the chain to be in place. Four and a half months later and subsequently finding that, far from being ready to go; solicitors had not been appointed and mortgages had not been approved; the dream had slowly turned into a nightmare. No sale, no purchase, no chain, no move and no faith in Fenn Wright. The tired cliche of “promising a lot, but delivering little” seems fitting for this agency. If you are considering using Fenn Wright; my advice would be: think very carefully. There are plenty of other agencies in the area.

GoogleWe can’t fault the service provided by Fenn Wright. Both Neil and Tracy went above and beyond to support us in the sale of our house and assisting us to find a new property. There were a number of unexpected events in the chain as we got close to exchange but we couldn’t have asked for a better team supporting us - fully trusted they were doing everything to make the sale work out and communicated with us at all stages. Very happy and will be recommending them to friends and family.
