Bought at last

Our purchase was a long process due to a lease extension and various issues but James managed to help us through it. Although at times it was frustrating, we persevered and at last, we now are the proud owners of this flat. Extremely professional, efficient and regularly kept us up to date

James at Elliott Lee was extremely professional and always strived to answer our queries within a day and would always report back having made the utmost effort whether it be to chase the vendor’s solicitor or the management company. Whenever I popped into the branch he would always spare some time to talk to me and reassure me regarding my queries and questions even when he was very busy. If there was a part of the process I didn’t understand, for example when the solicitor had to get indemnity insurance for work carried out on the property which had no certificates James was able to explain how it worked. I really appreciate him calling the various people in the chain so that the process could be speeded along and also he managed to get hold of people where we were unable to. Henry helped a lot when it came to us viewing the property on several occasions after making the offer. He had a very professional manner and had plenty of time to show us around the property and answer any queries we had. Also we are grateful that he made sure the property was emptied before exchange and I know he followed up and chased when the house still hadn’t been totally emptied a few days before exchange.

James Burgess from Elliot Lee has patiently helped a lot for Buying the 86 Ravenswood Crescent, Harrow, HA29JW during the difficult period when the seller and her advocates were giving tough time. The seller did not disclose important information like Chain and withhold lot of information during the process which had increased the anxiety. But James has played his part as a proper negotiator and helped in to provide me information as much as he could get. I liked the way he calmly ensured that we could finish the transaction which I would have backed out a lot earlier. James has helped in introducing us to Chole and Scott from letting team as well. I would like to do further business with James if possible and recommend Elliot Lee. to my friends. Scott Pearce has handled the letting of 86 Ravenswood Crescent by arranging viewings, doing the required checks and process quickly and efficiently. Although none of the viewers arranged by Elliot Lee's team could make it to the approved tenants who have made the offer, the tenant recommended by me was onboarded with all due letting process checks required by Elliot Lee's team. Scott has helped in completing this process quickly which was required for the tenant. He has arranged all the required process like Inventory Check, Alarms check, tenant's check, etc., and made sure the tenant is given the keys on his time. We would like to see the next steps also go smoothly and proper checks are done on the tenants to make sure the house is clean which will ensure to extend the contract when the time arrives. Fantastic!

We had just arrived in the UK a few days past and was stressful and in a rush to find a good home for our 2 young children. We then were introduced to Chloe through a friend as she was also helping us to look for a place. Chloe has been fantastic. She is highly responsive, very quick to respond and excellent at keeping you up-to-date with the progress. She has a friendly demeanour yet extremely professional. Unprofessional behavior

James Burgess was polite at the beginning but due to an apparent miscommunication between two agencies (Elliot Lee and Maple Estates) he became very frustrated. He stated that he travelled “very far” to view my property and I explained that I was not informed about a viewing, therefore I could not allow him in. As he left he muttered the following words under his breath “f***ing hell”. I found that to be incredibly unprofessional and rude. I am quite disappointed with Elliot Lee and would not recommend them at all.

We send lots of emails like this: "Hello. Im really sorry to distrub again. But Im worry that have no choice again. People who working in agency and who care about our property stil ignoring us.. I feel sorry to them any way and I understand that they have enough of our emails but maybe they should give a bit pressure to the landlord if he still ignoring that his property have trouble.. They know Im pregnant and We will have our baby boy for about 10 weeks so how long we have to wait till someone will bring for us new dishwasher and will fix the leaking? We have not electric in part of the kitchen as the man who came cut this off just incase for the future leaking. But he said it is just temporary help. So steam absorber not working at the moment as no electric in this part of kitchen. So when I cooking it is horrible... Smell what coming from broken dishwasher... You wouldnt bealive how bad it is... It smell like someone womiting in the house. We waiting for replacement dishwasher 3 months... And now this leaking... For us it is too much.. And we gonna have baby soon in this house.. so we are very worring that everything taking soooo long.. i feel like people in tge agency not giving proper info to the landlord... it is seorius situation... Well.. any way we just fed up and we put report to cuncil already and we waiting for a visit as we cant wait another next few months as our baby coming soon." "Well... We always paying on time and we care about this property better then the landlord.. So I thought if we have contract between agency, us and landlord this will help in this situations like that... I felt more "safe" to rent house from agency as I heard so many times how it is with private landlords... But honestly... I dont feel any different now.. I feel like agency not trying to help us.. and I thought the agency will support us.. I feel big disapointed and I feel like I waste all my energy for it :(" And nothing... Completly...
