GoogleNever have I worked with estate agents that were so honest and on it. I spent months trying to find somewhere that would accept a well behaved dog and they really fought for us and helped us every step of the way. GoogleWhen renting a property, you don't choose the estate agency that is renting it. Well, for sure i would not go for this agency in Didcot. And do not recommend them. We are good tenants, we keep everything clean and would understand if a portion of our deposit was retained for something being broken or not given back in a good state etc. However, we rented a property with Davis Tate and when it came to move out, they tried to steal money from our deposit for no reasons. We spoke to their head office in Reading, to the director of the office branch and set up a former complain. We left the house in excellent state, cleaned it properly and we were told that about 60% of our deposit was to be retained because the cleaning was according to them, not of a professional standard. We left the house in a cleaner state than when we moved it. When we moved in, the washing machine was discusting and we had to spend over 1 hour cleaning it. The wardrobe doors upstairs had yellow stains that took several products to remove etc. There were cowebs, windows were dirty, carpet needed a good hoovering etc. We spent hours cleaning the house when we moved out and made sure the house was in a very good cleaning state. They also said that we had drilled 2 holes in the living room, which was false. We realised that a previous tenant had done these, by looking at old ads of the same property that were still on the web. A mirror had been put there before. This agency in Didcot will try to steal money from you!! We eventually managed to get the full deposit back when we said we would go to small claims. At the condition to not say anything about it all.. . Well, i think it is important to share our experience, whether they like it or not!!NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI contacted Davis Tate about selling our rental properties and received excellent service from day 1. David has all the qualities sadly lacking in some other agents. Always responsive to calls and emails and with a friendly, professional attitude that gave me complete confidence in the transaction. Going the extra mile seems the norm to David, from chasing the solicitors on both sides to always calling with updates it's just the kind of work ethic you need in a property transaction. GoogleWe sold our house through David Tate. Charlie was excellent through out the process. He knows RG4 extremely well, living in the locality himself. The picture and video quality for the virtual viewing was excellent and impactful. Charlie had viewers lined up from the outset. All very professional. We didn’t have an easy transaction due to issues out of our control, however, Richard & James were both amazing at communicating, honestly and thoroughly with us throughout the process. GoogleI sadly made the mistake of asking Davis Tate to sell and market my property. I received poor advice on the state of the local market regarding the sales of apartments to find that they had successfully sold 8 apartments in a local and competitive development and therefore all their sales and marketing focus went on that. When I mentioned that logically to them I was told that it was a " benefit " in enabling the sale of my apartment despite getting only 5 viewings with one of those being a repeat viewing. There was no pro-activity and no advice given on what was required to sell the property. To add insult to injury when this was pointed out to the leadership team I was promised a call to see what could change only for the branch manager to call back one day late and typically with no apology.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
