GoogleWhen renting a property, you don't choose the estate agency that is renting it. Well, for sure i would not go for this agency in Didcot. And do not recommend them. We are good tenants, we keep everything clean and would understand if a portion of our deposit was retained for something being broken or not given back in a good state etc. However, we rented a property with Davis Tate and when it came to move out, they tried to steal money from our deposit for no reasons. We spoke to their head office in Reading, to the director of the office branch and set up a former complain. We left the house in excellent state, cleaned it properly and we were told that about 60% of our deposit was to be retained because the cleaning was according to them, not of a professional standard. We left the house in a cleaner state than when we moved it. When we moved in, the washing machine was discusting and we had to spend over 1 hour cleaning it. The wardrobe doors upstairs had yellow stains that took several products to remove etc. There were cowebs, windows were dirty, carpet needed a good hoovering etc. We spent hours cleaning the house when we moved out and made sure the house was in a very good cleaning state. They also said that we had drilled 2 holes in the living room, which was false. We realised that a previous tenant had done these, by looking at old ads of the same property that were still on the web. A mirror had been put there before. This agency in Didcot will try to steal money from you!! We eventually managed to get the full deposit back when we said we would go to small claims. At the condition to not say anything about it all.. . Well, i think it is important to share our experience, whether they like it or not!!

GoogleFantastic service from the team. The team were great when we moved in 2019 and everything gone to plan. I recently contacted Matt and his team to assist with leasing the property earlier to allow us moving out. Fantastic service from the entire team considering they didn’t need to do all this. They have gone above and beyond to secure a new tenant and kept us updated regularly. Thank you Matt and to your wider Didcot team. You have made our move a lot smoother over the last couple of weeks.

GoogleIf you are looking to looking for a lettings agency in Oxfordshire, please take the time and read my review. I promise it will be worth it. My family and I have relocated from the North, a considerable distance, during the pandemic, with a baby and a cat. So stressful and overwhelming to say the least. I have dealt with agencies before so my expectations were low, but when I actually started to look for a house in Oxfordshire, almost all agents were even worse than what I expected. From cancelled viewings on the day, to promising they call and never calling, you name it, I had it. I was so stressed and upset. And then came Davis Tate. Our interactions were mainly with Dominic, but I did speak with other agents at time. From the very beginning the interaction was impeccable. We could not travel so far with the baby just for a viewing, so Dominic was very understanding and facilitated a video tour. He was incredibly prompt. He replies to emails in a matter of minutes, not even hours. If he says he will call, he calls. Every step of the way he called me to explain what was happening or what had been accomplished on the day. It was fast and easy. We rented the house without seeing it and we were so nervous about that. Especially with a baby, you want it to be safe, you want it to be warm, you want it to be clean. When we saw the house, we were speechless. It is everything we wanted and more. It was spotless and exactly as described and seen in the video and photos. Dominic found out we were travelling the day before and staying in a hotel so he actually made arrangements for us to skip that and pick up the keys that afternoon. He waited for us until 5:40pm. They even got us a welcome goodie pack. I tried to do this agency justice with this review but I don't think I can describe how incredibly thankful I am. Just incredible and outstanding service from start to finish. Thank you Davis Tate and thank you Dominic!

GoogleJenny and the team at the twyford office were very considerate and professional in the sale of our house, nothing was too much trouble,late evening emails and very early morning ones etc.were not left unanswered.Phone calls returned promptly.A pleasure to deal with,good "old fashioned"customer service, very rare in today's age.

GoogleI'm a buyer, so this review is quite literally unpaid for. The Mrs and I have recently purchased a property that was put on the market via Davis Tate, Twyford. The service has been impeccable, we've been updated every step of the way, most notably by Jenny and Geraldine. We were a little apprehensive about making the current stamp duty deadline, but the ladies at Davis Tate, have certainly put in the work to coordinate both sets of solicitors, to make sure we completed before the deadline. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend them. I suppose we're very lucky the seller decided to market with Davis Tate, Twyford.
