GoogleI’m an overseas landlord, I hope Davis Tate will bother to reply to me now I have posted this. Numerous emails ignored. My tenants left with a health/safety issue. I’m not willing to be held vicariously liable for this. Why am I paying you, Davis Tate, when you haven’t got the decency to respond to me trying to fix an issue? You’ve caused me so much distress. Please beware everyone - they might ignore you too.

GoogleDefinitely wouldn’t recommend. Following a viewing of a property, I put an offer forward last Saturday morning. Was told on Monday there were 2 offers and I would receive an update ASAP. Still waiting for a call! Absolutely no communication from Tristan at all! Luckily we did secure another property with a different estate agents. If you’re looking to sell/buy/rent a property, definitely use a different agent. Very disappointed ☹️ To add following their reply: That is absolutely incorrect! I did not advise I had accepted another property. I told Tristan I had seen another property, but I was holding off on that one, until I had a decision about this one. I heard nothing further and only had a response from Tristan after posting my review!
Hi Sarah, Thank you for providing your feedback of your experience. I understand that Tristan has since contacted you to discuss and apologise. According to the notes on the system you had informed Tristan that you had secured another property prior to landlord accepting an alternate offer although he should have still updated you with this information.

GoogleI wish I could give 0 stars. It's been more than a month since my tenancy ended and still haven't received my deposit despite agreeing to pay 100£ fine for cleaning. Besmir Polamani, who is supposed to be the property manager does not know what is going on and if it wasn't for my continuous emails he would've just disappeared. shame.

GoogleI’ve waited a long while to write this review because I wanted to see if we were really in the wrong, but having now passed referencing easily with two properties costing more per month since, I can confidently say my experience with Davis Tate bordered on disgusting. To be brief: found a place, got accepted, went to referencing, the referencing company congratulated us and told us we passed, next day we were told by Davis Tate we didn’t pass by like 10k (we’re self employed) and would need a guarantor, we tried to prove we would pass sent bank statements etc, they said no, that’s all fine whatever everyone’s got their own system (but to clarify we passed with absolutely zero problems at the same amount the following week), the part that’s disgusting is we were told “well what if you break up” referring to me and my husband. I honestly can’t believe someone (maybe it was shioban could have been someone else it was over a year ago) actually had the cheek to say that, we’d been married about 6 years by then. Anyway there were some other bits but honestly I’m just so thankful we didn’t end up handcuffed to them and good luck to whoever did.

I do appreciate that the referencing process can sometimes be frustrating if you are not on full time permanent contract, however as you have stated the affordability was not met for the property in question and the referencing failed, the process would then be too discuss this with the landlord and allow them to make the final decision with all of the information as we are transparent with our landlords on these situations. The landlord would then have the final decision and should they decide not to proceed with the tenancy for various reasons we would then feed this back to you with what concerns they had raised. It is very pleasant to note that after contacting the company, they immediately felt an understanding of our issue. I would like to note the courtesy, support, and competence at a high professional level on the part of Urvashi from registration on the website to signing the contract. A possible offer according to our search parameters was sent very promptly. At our request, all additional information about the apartment that interested us was provided, and a viewing was organized. During the viewing, Urvashi answered all our questions about the apartment and the terms of the tenant agreement. We are very pleased! This team doing the best for you!

GoogleWe contacted Davis Tate for help in finding an apartment for my parents. It is pleasant to note the work of the team, especially Tristan. All the necessary information about the apartment we were interested in was presented at a high professional level. He responded to calls and letters promptly and informatively. Tristan constantly provided support in preparing the necessary documents for concluding the tenant agreement and always offered solutions to the issues that arose from our side. I am highly recommend Davis Tate!
