Rented via Davis Tate in Didcot in 2016. The agent who showed us around the property lied to us (not sure if accidental or deliberate) about white goods being included. Didn't find out until we moved in and had to buy a fridge/freezer and washing machine which we couldn't afford. Davis Tate took zero responsibility. Some of the kitchen hardware (taps) were heavily corroded/rusted and the plastic sink partly melted, but the best they did was go 50/50 on that with us, because we failed to lift up the dishcloth and dishes that were covering up the damage when we viewed the property. Needless to say, we were pleased that management of the property was passed to Parkway Lettings for the latter half of our tenancy. The experience was such a negative one, we're glad the house we ended up buying wasn't via them.
