GoogleCountrywide helped me sell my property recently. It does what it’s on the thin from the start to the end. Gavin did well his job at the start and Julie kept me informed with the update and feedback during the time the property was on the market.

Google- Terrible communication with tennants unless they do something illegal and need to cover their own backs. - Terrible communication of tennant needs between staff. - Poor staff training. - Poorly cleaned and maintained flats. Countrywide have earned their terrible reputation, don't choose them unless you have no other choice.

GoogleAshton Russell was very helpful when we were trying to find out how to register to get our deposit back on the flat my daughter rented. He answered every query promptly even when we were struggling and had to email several times for advice.

GoogleCountry wide on Byres road is a shocking lettings for young professionals. Ashton Russel has ignored all of both mine and my flat mates calls and ignored every email sent regarding arrangement to remove furniture from our flat (which we had to do to get our deposit back) however he Did not Reply to any email or return any call to arrange a date. Is this the appropriate conduct for a portfolio manager? Purposely went out his way to make sure we couldn’t get our deposit back. On one occasion my flat mate phoned his office number where he failed to correctly place her on hold and we heard him making snarky comments at a fellow agent for transferring her call to him? Countrywide also arranged to have a contractor re tile our bathroom floor and to do this they had to remove the bathroom door then reconnect it after. Country wide charged us £402 claim For apparently “tampering and damaging door” could two 5ft3 girls really take a door off it’s hinges? Again no reply when I asked him this. For someone working in law I whole heartedly know that there has been mass company negligence in regards to both mine and my flat mates care and financial security.

GoogleCountrywide’s fee is on the more expensive side in my experience but they sure do get results! We were absolutely delighted working with them for our sale. The staff were friendly, flexible and attentive which made for a relatively stress free experience. Fantastic service, would definitely recommend.

GoogleGreat service for sale of flat from start to finish. Gavin advised what was required to get flat ready for sale and Freya was friendly and helpful and kept me up to date with all aspects of the sale and gave excellent advice due to me being a first time seller, helping me achieve sale price I was very happy with. GoogleI would like to appreciate Ashton and Fern at byres Road Glasgow for their wonderful services . They both made letting easy and my stay at the apartment was wonderful .. Ashton was my apartment manager and he did excellently well, they are swift with responses and resolve any issues as fast as they can ! I have no complain whatsoever .. GoogleMyself and my husband have been dealing with countrywide estate agents in Byres Rd since April of this year in regards to a rented property. We have been dealing with Jamie Sidebottom for all of this time. He has been exemplary in his professional and helpful manner. Nothing is too much trouble and he carries out his duties calmly and politely . We had a recent issue regarding the address and Jamie came to our rescue sorting it all out in his usual calm professional way. He is a great asset to the business.

I was really impressed with the check out process, everyone was very responsive to the emails, and were really fair to us tenants even though we weren't present during the checkout inspection. This is by far the best letting agency I've encountered in the UK.

GoogleMany thanks to the Countrywide team @ Byres Road for making the letting process very simple and straightforward. Kellie and Jamie provided excellent guidance and support throughout the entire process. Both were very professional and quickly answered all questions. Their industry knowledge is second to none. The landlord online portal makes it very easy to track what's happening with the tenancy. I initially thought the letting process was going to be complicated, but Countrywide made it easy. For a stress free, quick and simple letting process I would highly recommend Countrywide 👍
