GoogleBrilliant service. The guys at Clee were fantastic to deal with during the sale of our property. They came to view the property and gave us some very sound advice which helped with the sale and ensured we achieved a good amount. Once a number of offers had been received they helped us choose the right buyer and kept in touch regularly, right up to the point of completion, keeping us up-to-date with progress. I honestly couldn't have asked for more. I would certainly use them again in the future.

GoogleApologies for this late review however it is a great pleasure to say a "Thank You" to the team in Pontardawe, Carol, Josh, and Rob. After our initial contact they were quickly able to settle our nerves with selling and made the whole process extremely easy, comfortable, and quick. They found a suitable buyer within weeks and followed up with all the necessary cals and paperwork required. We are now settled into our new home and just wanted to endorse the team in Pontardawe, we can highly recommend their professional and yet personal approach to selling your home. Josh made a superb video within days of taking photos around the property, Rob escorted people to the property and ensured they were just right for the house, and Carol......what can we say! Carol is just amazing as she took every call we made and settled any anxieties with ease and followed the progress of the sale from start to completion. Put your property in their hands and trust them to do the job they are skilled at. An unrivalled sales team with such good humour and patience. Thank you so much for all you have done.

GoogleIn 2019 I bought my first house in Wales, from Clee Estate Agents. The service was faultless. This was to be the beginning of my welsh portfolio and so as Clee had a property management company it appeared to be logical to keep it in house. My portfolio expanded. With regards to a property in Regent St. My tenant, or rather the tenant that Clee vetted moved in on 18th June 2021. Had to chase the rent. Clee issue statements, but nothing was coming into my account. Also overcharging on their management fees was reported to them. Due to none payment of rent Clee were instructed to issue a Section 21 Notice, which they duly did. This was dated 09/11/21 with possession required after 17/06/22. Though the email was sent to me a week later. On the 26th December the tenant emailed me concerning a water leak from his bathroom. He had been trying to contact Clee to arrange an emergency plumber to visit the property. I could confirm this myself. There was no answer phone message for emergencies. Nothing on their web site or shop window. Then then resulted in me having to travel to Neath from Exeter myself. Clee was closed for the whole of the festive period. Their inventory report on the 30th March clearly showed the affected dampness. Clee then decided to employ a gentleman who found me a tenant for one of my properties. What I was not informed at the time was there were outstanding CCJs on this person and the references were not properly checked. After not receiving rent for over six months I requested a section 21 to be issued, It took Clee weeks to issue this and what they did issue was wrong. Instead of three months it was for nearly five months. When I finally got the tenant out I would estimate my loss at about 15K. This gentleman now no longer works for Clee and a replacement was found. Thought all this the managing agent manager was very supportive, but there was nothing more she could do. Since then she has decided to leave the company as did her replacement. This resulted in me removing three of my properties from Clee. On another property I instructed Clee in full management, eventually they found me tenants. However there charges were to say in the least excessive. Our contract for finding a tenant was £250 and 8% management charge because I now had quite a few properties with Clee. Clee deducted £450 and 10%, lucky I spotted this. I wanted to move one tenant from one property into another. This property had already an agreement with as above. Once again Clee decided to try to increase their fees. Again £450 and 15% On all my properties Clee were suppose to carry out a photographic inspection before and after the tenant resides at the property. Half the time the inspection missed many points. Damaged walls, state of the garden etc. Then they rush to claim a little of the deposit back and complain if you find missing faults. Promoting properties. No rent signage displayed and though reported, I had no response til I chased it again, to then be advise there was a sign. Properties not appearing on their own web site. Emails going unanswered. When faults are reported Clee were advised which contractors to use. This doest happen instead they were rather use dubious contractors, unknown to me, who charge a fortune. Then on top of this you are advised there is a call out charge. Clee Property Management Company appears to have long past its best sell by date. And consideration for its customers (The landlords) has been set aside. Mark Leonard.

Then Carol took over to help the sale complete.. it was a complicated process but Carol helped us all the way!! Any information we needed she mediated between ourselves, the vendor, and both parties solicitors to keep us informed all the way. I cannot stress how helpful she was!! She made the whole process manageable. There was nothing she wouldn't help us with and we are so so grateful!! Brilliant office .. fantastic team!! Thank you so so much.x

GoogleI recently bought a house and Hazel was the estate agent I dealt with all the way through the process . From the first phone call she was helpful , friendly and extremely competent. She was so approachable and hands on . I have bought and sold a lot of houses and without a doubt the service Hazel gave us was the best we have received . I would highly recommend using her if we bought or sold again in the area . .

Surprised to see so many negative reviews. I have recently completed on the sale of one property and purchase of another, with two different branches of Clee - Carmarthen and Pontardawe. I have been surprised and impressed by the level of service from both offices. There has been regular communication, which has been friendly and supportive and an enterprising suggestion led to my purchase of a property which I hadn't even considered. I wouldn't hesitate to use CTF again, or to recommend them.

There were so many disasters and challenges with the property (which were nothing to do with Clee), but throughout, they were helpful, patient, and never gave up - even managing to keep the prospective buyer happy enough to proceed, after repair works were carried out! Really couldn't have asked for a better service. Truly excellent.

I will never recommend this company to anyone! Made the whole process 10x more stressful than it needed to be. We had a range of problems with them. The first put the price on the market £5k cheaper than we wanted. Their photos were absolutely horrendous - made the house look so small and dark. In the end, we took our own photos and asked them to place these on our listing. The ‘for sale’ sign for over a week after the listing went live. The Port Talbot branch manager, Nicola, we found very rude and condescending. I don’t think they know what customer service is. It actually seemed on times as though the person buying our house was paying them, instead of us! That’s how I felt we were treated. Every time I would see their number as an incoming call, I would feel nothing but dread! We will never EVER go with this company again. So relieved the whole process is over and I don’t have any more contact with them.

GoogleWe recently sold our home and purchased a new one both with Clees. They sold our home in no time at all and assisted with the purchase of our new home. Throughout the process they were professional, knowledgeable and helpful, especially when our initial buyer pulled out a week before we were due to move. Although we were devastated Chris and the team sprang in to action, put our home back on the market and sold it again in 3 days. I cannot thank them enough for the patience and professionalism they showed in what was an extremely stressful time for us. I would highly recommend Clees to anyone thinking of selling or buying a property. Their knowledge, professionalism and attitude throughout the process was first class.
