What sets them apart is that they really listen to what we want and always go the extra mile to help us find it. They are always on hand to guide and support throughout the process, and their knowledge of the area is second to none. We have recently exchanged on another move with Castles and could not be happier or more grateful to Abraham, Sandro and Colin at the Crouch End branch. We cannot recommend them highly enough. We first started our relationship with Castles about a year ago when my wife and I were looking for more space than our two-bed flat for our growing family. Our first interaction, Sandro, was very pleasant and he was able to find a rental that met our needs. Whilst we were in the market for a purchase, at the time there was just nothing suited for our needs, or that really spoke to us. Whilst residing in the Crouch End area, we fell in love with it, and kept looking to purchase our future home. Having put our names on every estate agent call / mailing list, I can personally say that the offerings presented to us by Castles vs the others were night and day. I can honestly count on one hand the number of times I was contacted by Castles on a property meeting our needs, to which viewings followed, while the others just bombarded us with spam emails or calls pushing for us to consider properties, especially ones specifically excluded from our viewing criteria. Abraham, Sandro, and Colin were always helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. As a buyer they are hands down the best estate agency we have dealt with and have personally debunked the stereotypical estate agent stigma. If you are looking for a house in Crouch End and you are not in contact with Castles you are making a big mistake.

Abraham has helped me buy two houses - one for me ten years ago - and one for my parents. He is incredible. Meticulous and detailed when it comes to finding what you need - then relentless when it comes to securing the deal and getting it over the line. And all of it done with a huge amount of care and consideration and efficiency that takes so much of the stress out of the task. With my elderly parents - he could not have been kinder, constantly reassuring them and resolving any of the many issues they threw at him. For them, the timeframe was important - and he got the whole move done in under 4 weeks. I can't recommend Abraham highly enough. I still sit in our home now - a decade on - and can't believe we're actually here and know we wouldn't be here but for his tenacity and smart work. My own estate agent had been a nightmare - saved entirely by Abraham, who was selling the place we eventually bought. So - certainly 5 stars - more if I could. He is lovely and fun but will always tell you honestly what he thinks. In a sea of sharks - he's a dolphin.

We had a bad experience with another local estate agent, who over valued the house, encouraged us to reduce the price twice, and then after 3+ months to accept an offer from a complete time waster who pulled out at the last minute, costing us time, stress and hundreds of pounds, which it turned out she'd done before. My agents name is Gentain and he is a very kind man who does not display the stereotypical manner associated with estate agents. I recommend him; he was understanding and was not forcefull which can make moving home even more stressfull. He advised me to take my time looking for somewhere to live after I had sold. He was not constantly on my back but would phone me for updates say once a week. Stuart who is the manager is also very down to earth who I had some dealings with.

Castles found me a tenant did all the vetting and paperwork and collected rent ontime ( i did maintenance myself) , tenant left before end of contract so i found another tenant myself and told them to go to castles to rent my property. Again castles did all vetting and paperwork no problem. Agreed rent freeze for 1 year but contracted annual rent review as it was quite low. I asked castles to increase rent by £50 per month and was told let us speak to tenant and after several calls and an email over the next few weeks Never got any call backs despite speaking to their colleagues. I gave up trying to increase the rent and decided to sell the property because of the poor return. I phoned and emailed castles 18 April and asked castles to serve notice to leave the property as per contract. No call backs no reply or confirmation to emails. By mid june Selling Agents advise vacant sale would increase selling price. I call castles to find that the tenants have not been asked to leave yet. So we have lost 2 months and thanks to there incompetence as we now have to allow tenants 2 months to leave. Solicitors are now chasing documents regarding tenancy agreement so i email and as usual no reply or confirmation. I email again, Just silence. Do you see a pattern? If everything goes smoothly youll do fine. If not and you need to change something then castles may not be for you.

Max was our point of contact at Castles he was excellent throughout the selling process and we cannot recommend him and the team at Castles highly enough. Max worked tirelessly on our sale going through and nothing seemed too much for him even when there were several phone calls a day between us he was always easily contactable and always returned calls. He always kept everyone updated at all times working with both us, the buyers and our solicitors.
