GoogleWe cannot recommend Castles (Hackney) enough. The support we received from the team was simply outstanding. Due to issues with our buyer’s solicitor a lot of things went wrong and the whole exchange and completion process turned into an absolute nightmare. Ela Yildiz, who looked after our sale, went out of her way to liaise with our buyer and her solicitor, to talk to the agents in the chain and to try find solutions to help move things forward. She always kept us up to date and it took a lot of her time. We were still facing issues with solicitors a day before completion and we were really struggling to keep our calm but Ela’s kindness and professionalism really helped us go through all of it. If it was not for her I honestly don’t know if we would have completed at all.

Josh was utterly brilliant from start to finish, offering massive amounts of support, guidance and empathy every step of the way. He's quick, efficient, attentive, diplomatic and knowledgeable, and looked after us amazingly through our second attempt at buying - which was successful, all thanks to him. GoogleWe recently used Castles to sell our flat in Crouch End. We chose them because they clearly had a lot of knowledge of the immediate area (lots of Castles signs nearby), and we were impressed with Sandro when he came to do the valuation - as well as extensive local knowledge he had good ideas about strategy, and just seemed like a nice person to deal with. Sandro took care of the sale and was very professional, personable, and reliable, and quick and clear in responding to questions. We felt that it was not just 'another sale' to him but that he was trying his utmost to get the best deal possible for us while being fair to all parties. We had total confidence in him and were sure he would get a good price for our property - which he did. He was a pleasure to deal with, as were Abraham and Colin too at the Crouch End office. I would be very happy to use Castles Crouch End again.

I got in touch with them as there were a few issues and Ela was so helpful and even though I wasn’t her client she helped me and kept me updated throughout the sale process. GoogleCastles Estates in Edmonton were a real Godsent to us. We were looking for a new flat for my mother and had been struggling to find an agency who wouldn't discriminate blankly against benefits. Victoria was professional, respectful and helpful from the start and with her assistance we were able to find the perfect place for my mum and move her in swiftly. GoogleI had a transaction with Castles, represented primarily by Sandro, and supported by Colin and Abraham. Great, collaborative team, and really represented the business very solidly. Sandro consistently understood my needs, ensured they were met appropriately, and was always able to bring stakeholders together in a very productive manner. The transaction went on for much longer than we intended, but the Castles team kept ALL stakeholders together, managed the prioritization very much with each stakeholder, and represented ALL parties very fairly. Definitely a highly recommended real estate business - hope to be able to do more transactions with them Thank you team.

GoogleI bought a flat which was managed by Castles. Initially I was really impressed - David and Ela went above and beyond to make me feel looked after, and I felt like I was in safe hands. I think it feels like a seller's world when you're buying, but I felt assured that David and Ela had my interests at heart, too. However, about 2 weeks before my exchange / completion date (same day, quite stressful!) David left without notice to me. I had been promised certain things in the sale which were then not upheld after David left. Because the timings were so tight to move out of my rented property and into my flat the process became incredibly stressful, and I went from feeling in safe hands to feeling on my own in the process. The comms didn't feel particularly nice, I became quite upset, and it all felt more stressful than it necessarily needed to be. I think more responsibility should have been taken for the things I was promised, but instead I felt like there was a real shift in how everything was being managed. I know the team worked hard to get everything through and I thank them for that. However, due to the change of staffing so close to my move date (which I don't think was handled all that well), my experience wasn't great.

GoogleI purchased my first home through Castles this year, the process was a long one due to issues with the seller but Josh and the team were excellent, keeping me informed and did everything they could to push the sale along. Whenever I decide to sell I will definitely be coming back to Josh. thank you!

GoogleI have nothing but glowing things to say about Josh, David and the Castles team. We had an extremely challenging chain, and at several points it all looked like it could all fall through but Josh was a constant source of reassurance, always had our back and made us feel like we were number one priority. I genuinely don't think we would have successfully completed without the continued over and above support we got to push it all through - thank you!

GoogleWe first started our relationship with Castles about a year ago when my wife and I were looking for more space than our two-bed flat for our growing family. Our first interaction, Sandro, was very pleasant and he was able to find a rental that met our needs. Whilst we were in the market for a purchase, at the time there was just nothing suited for our needs, or that really spoke to us. Whilst residing in the Crouch End area, we fell in love with it, and kept looking to purchase our future home. Having put our names on every estate agent call / mailing list, I can personally say that the offerings presented to us by Castles vs the others were night and day. I can honestly count on one hand the number of times I was contacted by Castles on a property meeting our needs, to which viewings followed, while the others just bombarded us with spam emails or calls pushing for us to consider properties, especially ones specifically excluded from our viewing criteria. Abraham, Sandro, and Colin were always helpful, knowledgeable, and personable. As a buyer they are hands down the best estate agency we have dealt with and have personally debunked the stereotypical estate agent stigma. If you are looking for a house in Crouch End and you are not in contact with Castles you are making a big mistake.

Sandro did such an excellent job showing us around the very first time we viewed that we fell in love almost immediately, and we cannot thank Abraham enough for all his help getting the transaction over the finish line. Although we were in a chain and had our own agents, when things got stuck in negotiations, it was Castles that came to the table with solutions, and fair concessions.
