We cannot thank Bournes in Godalming enough for their recent work on our house sale and purchase. From the outset we were aware that they are a young team who are extremely web-savvy and eager to succeed. They clearly knew exactly how to market our property at from the word go moved at a pace that as refreshing as it was unexpected. As a result we sold far sooner than we had ever imagined. Beyond that Harry, Alex and Saskia (and others I´m sure) couldn´t have been more helpful, working tirelessly to keep things on track through some difficult moments. At times, when we were tearing our hair out, a quick call to Harry would reassure us that all was well. This was truly invaluable. I can´t recommend Bourne´s highly enough and I´m so glad that we chose them to represent us throughout this process. Without their ability to bring all the elements together, when all seemed chaotic, I´m not sure where we´d be. However, we are now in our lovely new home. Thank you Harry and your team. Can’t recommend these guys enough - they are friendly, professional, tenacious and generally a really lovely bunch of people to have worked with to sell our house. Also, they ACTUALLY LISTEN and seek to understand your requirements for your next house purchase and I found the properties they were sending me to consider were relevant. In one instance, Harry Hitch even pointed me in the direction of a property that was on with another agent because he thought it fulfilled our brief so perfectly. There is no doubt that when my husband and I come to sell our new house, we will be doing so through Bourne.

We recently sold our property almost 12 months to the day from when we first put it on the market. We used the services of a number of agents (including their London connections). Bourne Estate agents was the last agency to be brought on board. However, although they came close, they did not actually make the sale. So why give Bourne a five star performance rating? In a bizarre sequence of events, on acceptance of our sale offer, the agency credited with the sale took a background seat and from then on had minimal involvement through to completion. As a consequence, we worked directly with the buyers ourselves. Unbeknown to us, in the three month period it took to get close to contract exchange, the Woking property market underwent a significant price correction. As a seller in an increasingly complex and ever changing market, we would have struggled had it not been for the intervention of our unpaid silent partner. Let me introduce Andy Gearing from Bourne Estate Agents of Woking. Andy’s sound advice and guidance in what turned out to be a very tough three months, undoubtedly kept the sale alive. Although there was no financial incentive either for Andy directly or for his agency, working behind the scenes, he went far beyond his remit in his support of our situation. Always available to listen to our moans about the state of the market, he took much of the pressure off us. For the first time we got an honest assessment of the challenges we were facing. This was also backed up with potential solutions one of which we implemented successfully The coming months will be challenging for both buyers and sellers alike. Most will work with one or two agents. We worked with six, and interviewed a number of others. If I knew then what I know now, I would have gone straight to Bourne in the first place. Lesson learned- thank you for all your 'pro-bono' advice and guidance
