GoogleA Highly Disappointing Experience with Balgores Romford Estate Agents I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the appalling service I received from Balgores Romford. Despite their grandiose claims of being able to sell my property within two weeks, my experience has been a frustrating and costly ordeal that I would not wish on anyone. After enduring 40 viewings and reducing the property price three times, the agents failed to deliver on their promises. Instead of taking responsibility, I was shockingly advised to find another agent. To add insult to injury, they ultimately admitted that they could not sell the property and suggested it be removed from the market altogether, a direct contradiction of their earlier bragging and assurances. To compound matters, I was charged £1,100 for searches and conveyancing fees, which were never even provided. This feels not only like a breach of trust but also outright exploitation, especially given the lack of results and the dismissive attitude I encountered. The entire process was riddled with miscommunication and false promises. Balgores Romford has demonstrated a lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer care throughout. I strongly urge potential clients to avoid Balgores Romford at all costs. If you feel compelled to use them, ensure you conduct extensive due diligence beforehand to avoid being misled as I was. This experience has left me deeply disappointed and out of pocket, with no results to show for my time, effort, or financial investment. Balgores Romford’s service has been nothing short of disgraceful.

GoogleUntrustworthy and Unprofessional - Holding Deposit Scam! FRAUDSTERS I had a terrible experience with Balgores Lettings Agent. They promised us a flat and took a £205 holding deposit, assuring us that everything was going smoothly and we would move in within a week. However, after waiting anxiously and receiving no updates, even after constantly chasing, they suddenly rejected our references without proper explanation. My reference went through as I am on £42k annual salary, employed full-time whereas my partner is on £50k salary, self-employed full-time. He submitted the requested document of his fully submitted Tax Returns Document, which they rejected saying that they need another document which DOES NOT exist on Government Gateaway. So thetefore they decided to not proceed with Letting the property to us and on top of that THEY WOULD NOT REFUND OUR DEPOSIT MONEY!!!! Absolutely ridiculous seeing as they said this holding deposit had initially promised would secure the flat. Their handling of the situation felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, and it left me feeling deceived and financially cheated. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid Balgores Lettings if you value transparency and honesty in your rental process. This agency clearly prioritizes profits over customer service, and I regret ever trusting them. Absolutely gutted with our experience! Luckily we now have an incredible house that is 100x better with lovely agents called ‘Anthony Martin’s’ - would definitely recommend any other agents besides Balgores!!!

GoogleMy fiance and I have recently moved into a rental property which was managed by Balgores Hayes. Jake Coldwell truly went above and beyond in assisting us with any questions we had, with timely and efficient responses. The process was extremely easy and anything we were unsure of, Jake was quick to help and provide any reassurances. If we do decide to move homes, whether it be another rental or buying, I would absolutely refer back to these guys as they have gained my total trust and I know what a great service they provide. I would 100% recommend.

GoogleI couldn’t have asked for a better experience whilst moving house. All the staff at Balgores have been amazing but Joe Hayes in particular has been fantastic! He is reliable, very very helpful, friendly, reassuring and funny. ( we all need some humour to help us along the way) he goes above and beyond his duties. Joe has made the selling and buying of my house a very memorable (in a good way) experience. I would 💯 recommend Balgores estate agent. I would never go anywhere else. GoogleFantastic experience and excellent service. I'm writing this review as a non client Joe at Balgores Brentwood is the agent for my buyer. Joe is polite, honest, professional and a genuinely lovely person. If he says he will get back to you, he will no matter how busy he is. He has a "get it done" attitude which is what you need when buying/selling a property. Joe kept me informed on the progress of my sale and how the chain was progressing. It wasn't the easiest at times but he remained positive. He was talking to everyone in the chain from the bottom to the top, which was me the non client. In my opinion every Estate Agent should have a Joe. I would definitely recommend Balgores Brentwood especially Joe 🙂 thank you for a job well done 👏 ☺️ I can't wait to put a face to the voice 🙂

GoogleMichael from Balgores Brentwood is beyond a dream to liaise with. Having dealt with many estate agents, I can safely say he is one of the best out there. He is efficient, trustworthy, honest, open, kind, caring, considerate, compassionate the list goes on. He goes out of his way to help you. I would like to thank Michael for everything he has done for us and even though we ended up purchasing a property through another agent, he was kind enough to sit there and listen about the other property, wish us luck and offer advice, whereas other estate agents can’t wait to get off the phone and are very rude once you no longer require their services. Balgores, Brentwood you have an absolute gem and you are extremely lucky to have him as part of your team.

GoogleWe sold our house using Balgores and from the beginning Paul was on the ball. We had lots of viewings in a short period of time and the staff in the office kept us informed at all times. Once the property was sold Marie the Sales Progressor was great acting as intermediary between clients solicitors and other agents in the chain. We were always kept up to date with how things were progressing along the chain and this helped us immensely. I would definitely recommend these agents. They did a fabulous job for us.
