GoogleI decided to use Balgores for the sale of my property as they were the agents who I initially bought it from. As a buyer the experience was really good, unfortunately as a seller the same cannot be said. If you have read lots of positive reviews about Balgores, it may be worth noting many of these are from tenants and landlords and NOT sellers… something to bear in mind. Balgores repeatedly failed to meet my expectations. I am currently living between two properties and on occasions I have been away from my home when viewings have been carried out. In my absence, I gave Balgores very clear instructions on what I expected when they were showing potential buyers round. It is also worth noting that I have both internal and external CCTV at my property - something which Balgores was aware of. Despite this I witnessed prospective buyers being shown around by estate agents who didn’t care, had no knowledge of the property and generally didn’t seem very professional (chewing gum, showing up later than potential buyers, sitting on the sofa in my living room texting after potential buyers had left etc). I mentioned to the branch manager Dillon a few times how disappointed I was with the service and he assured me that he would personally complete all the viewings going forward - this never happened despite me complaining several times. He also mentioned that he would speak to his team about my concerns - it is unclear if this happened or not but if Dillon did speak to his team they clearly have no respect for him at all as nothing changed. After being constantly lied to by Dillon and his team, generally getting the impression that Balgores were not actually interested in selling my property in the time frame I gave, and Balgores showing my property to potential buyers who’s maximum budget was lower than my minimum asking price resulting in several offers way below asking, I decided enough was enough and went to a different estate agent. Despite only having my property on the market for a few days with my new agent, have already had several appointments booked in. I would do your research before jumping into a contract with Balgores - based on my experience I am glad they will not be receiving any commission from my property.

GoogleWe’ve recently sold our house through Balgores. We can honestly say that the service, from enquiry, through marketing and onto sales progression has been exceptional. Their marketing collateral was well produced and they were able to get us significant interest in our property despite a challenging market. All of the team were professional and supportive. However, a huge shout out to Dillan and Georgia. They are a real credit to Balgores. Their communication and diligence to get us to exchange has been first class!

GoogleThroughout the whole process of searching for a house Michael was fantastic and he really did go the extra mile to help me in securing a property. Compared to other local agents I have dealt with I would definitely say that Michael really stood out from other agents I dealt with. He was in regular communication with me, was professional and gave me regular updates on the process. He also had a really personal touch and he just came across like he cares. Securing a rental property is a stressful business and Michael was brilliant and help made the process run smoothly and and stress free as possible. GoogleGenuinely the worst estate agent I have dealt with in my 5-6 years of private renting The property manager Jo is genuinely pointless to speak to and very unprofessional she constantly interrupts you when talking over the phone and ignores the law when it comes to the property’s she manages. I cannot understand why a company would operate in the manner that this company has since we have been with them. Very little issue with the property, some of which include not having a fitted fire alarm, was an argument to get sorted and in most cases wasn’t sorted. Jo told us that the person who first dealt with us was no longer in the company but that was then later found out to be a lie and when confronted about that she lied again by saying she never said that even tho we have an email from her stating that. If you are looking to private rent please avoid this company at all costs unless you enjoy endless headaches and constant lies. We will be putting through a complaint with their business due to the unprofessional and frankly unpleasant experience we have had. If you do go with this estate agent only email them never call them as you will more than likely have to take them to court and will need all the evidence you can get to stop them lying to cover themselves.
