Excellent service from Philip Bullman of Atkinson McLeod estate agents when I purchased a shop with flats above on Trinity road SW17, he was very helpful with the various visits and viewings I made and for my surveyors, thank you, Edmund Hewitt

I recently moved house and Philip from McLeod was professional and very helpful in the process. He made himself available for any questions I had. Very easy to work with.

Recently sold a property through the Balham office and dealt with Philip Bullman; what an absolute gentleman, best agency experience I’ve had and a pleasure to deal with. Calm, experienced, courteous and a very sensible head on his shoulders. He navigated the whole process, from finding a buyer from outside the area, dealing with the solicitors (never easy), managing expectations all round and keeping us updated regularly and making himself available when needed. Thanks Philip.

Having met with several agents before commencing the sale of my property, Adam Salem's level of expertise, friendly approachable manner, and professionalism made picking Atkinson McLeod an easy choice! He supervised us through a successful sale with flying colours, and my whole family are truly grateful for all the help and support we received. Really exceptional service, recommended.

As a private Landlord we do need help with finding tenants sometimes. I have been working with Charlie for last few weeks. And I have to say that he is very informative and keeps us updated about viewings, offers, feedbacks. That’s what we value the most. Thank you!

If I could give zero stars I would. Obstructive staff who do not care for their tenants, they only have $$$ on the brain. They are all wonderful and helpful until they've got your money and then after that they do not care. Absolutely no empathy understanding about ongoing issues with our property. Property management do not reply to emails and avoid phonecalls from you. One lady told me to "stop calling them". Getting any response or update from them is exhausting. Every process since signing the tenancy agreement has been extremely flawed. Do not rent a property from them - learn from our mistake.

From the moment we started looking for a property and contacted Atkinson McLeod, Ed swiftly got on the case for us, and was extremely proactive in finding properties that matched our specifications. He was never pushy, never pressurised us, but was always helpful, prepared to both give us his professional advice and (just as importantly) listen to our needs. It has never been a trouble to offer us a lift to viewings and he has at all times been courteous, smartly presented, professional and delightful to deal with. As the first person we actually met, Ed gave us a fantastic impression of Atkinson McLeod. Brilliant agency.

Had a terrible experience with this estate agent just over a year ago. I can only reiterate the other reviews made below in regards to their lack of communication, completely apathetic attitude and extortionate fees. They broke clauses in our contract several times to the extent that all tenants involved decided to move out of the property early due to the amount of stress caused. I would highly recommend submitting a complaint to The Property Ombudsman if anyone has had trouble, not only to perhaps be compensated but also to show that agencies cannot continue to operate like this.

The slogan of this agency is Β«build on trust and transparency Β». Beware, as not the case at all. After a sale is made, good luck trying to reach them afterwards. Landlords beware as Atkinson McLeod charge β€œrenewal fees” for doing no work at all, so make sure they clearly detail in the contract what charges are applicable against which services. Terrible experience. Have now found estate agents that do not apply such a fee and are actually fair and transparent. Will not use again and do not recommend.

If you see the name Phillip Mconville, run away. I will never be using that estate agency (Atkinson McLeod) ever again. They will tell you anything you want to hear to make you sign a contract and they will not have any problem to lie to your face.

On 17/02 I enquired through Rightmove about a 2 beds to rent in Camberwell. I called the office the day after asking if the property was still available. The agent confirmed it was, so he asked whether I wanted to view it. We agreed to meet the same day at 7pm, but I should have waited for him to call me back as he needed the keys from the landlord. I called him back few hours later asking for an update and he said he would have called me back in a minute to confirm. He did so, but said that the landlord had rented it himself. As I was not sure about what was going on, I called the office again on 18/02 asking whether the property was still available, once again I was told it was and therefore I asked for arranging a viewing. We agreed to meet on 20/02 at 12pm. I asked why I was told it was gone and the agent said it had just got back on the market - I asked them for sending me a confirmation, which it did not arrive. I called them twice on 19/02 asking for confirming the viewing, but in both cases no address was provided. This morning 20/02 I called the office again and one of the agent did not know anything as nothing was on their system. He told me his colleague was going to contact me back. He did it at 11:36am saying that 2 beds I was interested about was under offer and that he would have showed me something else. I know a property in London can be gone in a minute, but this is a totally different story. I was told the property was available at least three times and everytime I called them I was told the viewing was confirmed at 12pm, whilst in reality nothing was on their system and most of the people working there did not know a thing about it. This is such an unprofessional and really poor service. Time wasters and completely disorganised.

Horrible experience. I called to arrange house viewing and spent 1.5 hours to travel to the location. Staff forgot the key and simply told me to go home and come back tomorrow. No apology whatsoever. 2 staffs told me it’s not their fault and that it’s human error. Anything can happen. Very pathetic. Not professional at all.

Alexandra Jaupart was very professional and made every effort to find us a new home in the City! Admin team were a bit slow, however, and communication on the progress of the letting could have been better!

In many cases members of staff at Atkinson McLeod know significantly less than the tenant - in regards to letting rights and contract law. As soon as you've paid their large fees and signed their contract you're merely worth their time and acknowledgment. You'd be extremely lucky to even get a call back, let alone be rewarded with a solution. I warn prospective and potential customers of AM to steer a sharp left turn away from this company for a multitude of reasons, doubting I have the character count to explain them all properly.

Dear Tenants, it has nw been 5weeks we left the property. The check out report confirmed no deductions were needed and the landlord agreed. The agency has still not given back our deposit. They went over the 3weeks deadline (as per contract) by two weeks already and do not seem in any rush to give back our money! I’m going to skip the poor service we received from this company since we paid to move in but this experience should tell you what kind of agency you’re about to deal with. Save yourself some frustration/anger by not using them.

Do not trust this agency. Our Agent PHIL guaranteed us that when entering the flat the facilities of the development such as gym, pool, cinema... etc. would have been ready weeks before we moved in. As of now one month and a half has passed and it is still uncertain when they will be ready for the tenants. We tried to contact PHIl to give notice of the problems within our flat and schedule a meeting, yet he avoided all our attempts to contact him. This company takes ADVANTAGE of tenants.

Alexandra Jaupart gave me an excellent service throughout our search for a new Property. She was always available on the phone and always called me with regular updates on existing properties and new properties that came onto the market. Very knowledgeable about the area, I would recommend Alex to any prospective tenant looking for a property.
