GoogleI want to send a big thank you to Danny at Atkinson McLeod who supported us with our first purchase in Brixton. It wasn't easy due to some hurdles which were out of our control. Honestly, without Danny's help I don't think we would be here in our new home. I'm forever grateful and thrilled that we had you on our side. Thank you so much!!!!!!!

GoogleThe Admin is very poor.Their communication is very poor. At the hand over, no one bothered to attend the hand over. No reference were ever supplied even after 10 days of hand over.The Sales person Emily was very rude. I wanted to nominate a company for deposit money but they have deposited the deposit money of their own choice. They treat customers like a liability. They wanted UPFRONT MONEY TO COVER THEIR COSTS RATHER THAN TAKING OUT FROM THE RENT COLLECTED FROM THE TENANTS FOR SOME INITIAL MONTHS. THAT MEANS THEY WANTED ME TO BORROW FROM THE BANK TO PAY £5,000 PLUS COMMISSION ON THE DAY THE TENANTS PAY ME A RENTAL OF £1635 PER MONTH ON 2 BED ROOM FLAT AT SW9 AREA.

GoogleMy girlfriend enquired after a property in Stockwell. Arranged a viewing. Day of viewing, called to confirm it, but got no answer from either the office or Lloyd, the agent she was dealing with. Turned up to the viewing anyway, having taken time off work, only to have him no-show. Called the office a few more times, and finally got through to someone, who said that Lloyd was off sick. Shockingly poor communication, materially worse off for having dealt with them.

GoogleDespite not having found my place through Atkinson McLeod, their team was great, in particular Lloyd who always made an effort to find and suggest the right place. Unfortunately some of these locations were out of our budget which kind of made it pointless to visit given that we were out of our depth, but nonetheless, we were getting closer to what we wanted to be our home. I've noticed some people have had bad experiences, but I can honestly say we had zero problems. From Lloyd showing up on time, to the kind of property we wanted and returning my deposit back.

GoogleI Have worked with Atkinson Mcleod for 3 years now as a building contractor company doing repairs on the portfolio of properties they manage. I have found the company to be organised and hardworking with a great reputation from the Tenants we speak to daily. Leah Browne is my one of my main point of contacts and is very concise and organised, we have a great working relationship and feel she is a key part in allowing our company to run smoothly alongside AM.

GoogleI recently had a valuation conducted on my flat in the Camberwell area.I was so grateful to have been greeted by Ben the Letting Manager, who unlike other Letting Managers that I have dealt with in the past, greeted me with a warm and friendly persona, he was very informative and trusting. Although i'm not one to often write reviews, I feel this is definitely worthy of my time, as I know how hard it is to find someone I genuinely feel I can rely on. Thanks again Ben and the team, and good luck with future business, I shall certainly be spreading a good word about you!

GoogleRosemary Black is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. I am a property developer with a lot of experience searching for properties and working with estate agents and I have found Rosemary to be highly professional, straightforward, well-prepared for every viewing and an absolute pleasure to deal with. She listens to what I am looking for and gets in touch with properties that she feels would suit me, rather than sending over any details on properties she's trying to shift (a rare thing!). I could not recommend her more highly - if only everyone was such a dream to work with.

GoogleContacted them on Friday 13/07 to arrange the viewing of 2 properties, Damian kept disappearing . He followed up on Monday, asking if I was still looking, and i replied within 20 min to his email, saying that i was and that i wanted to arrange 2 viewings. He disappeared again, I rang the office few times and I was told that someone would have called me the following morning. No one called me. I called again, it was then Tue 17/07, and I was told by a lady that both properties I wanted to see were gone and that I would have received more suggestions via email. When I received the email, 1 of the property I wanted to see was there so I called them back straight away and managed to finally arrange a viewing with Dylan for the following day at 1 pm. Today 18/07 I received another call saying that the property was taken off the market. Very disappointed, not the service I was expecting at all. WASTE OF TIME! Mattia

GoogleAlthough I did not rent a flat through Atkinson McLeod, Chavonne Farley was hands down the most professional, helpful estate agent I have dealt with. She never called me up with ridiculous suggestions of houses out of my budget nor did she try and tell me £300 over my asking price was manageable which has happened on numerous occasions. Overall could not have asked for more and genuinely wished me the best when I had signed another house through another estate agent.

GoogleLeah Browne was brilliant and really went the extra mile. Being new to the area with a new job to start and a new flat to move into I was really stressed however I needn't have been as Leah was really helpful and the move went well and was handled in a very friendly and professional manor. Hopefully I won’t be moving again anytime soon but if I do I’ll definitely be using Atkinson McLeod and would certainly recommend

GoogleWe dealt with Sam during our property search and he was without a doubt one of the best estate agents we dealt with across a number of companies. During our search we found a umber of agencies where setting up viewings for properties that did not match or requirements this was not only time consuming but highly frustrating. Sam however at Atkinson McLeod listened to us as tenants, taking into consideration what we actually wanted and going above and beyond to ensure that every property we viewed with them not only matched our criteria but also us as tenants. I would not hesitate to use this company and Sam again in the future, and would recommend to anyone currently house hunting.

GoogleLeah Browne and Lloyd Newton-Cross. Lloyd kept us informed of properties coming on the market, especially after another property fell through. He made sure to contact us as soon as he could and was always available for viewing and queries. Leah was very helpful in the follow up stages of agreeing our tenancy. She made sure to provide all necessary information and documents from the landlord, and contacted the landlord on our behalf with queries.

FacebookDISGUSTING! Atkinson Mcleod have been harassing me since 2008 when I posted an enquiry for a lettings agent on Right Move. 11 YEARS!!! I have contacted all of the offices via email and telephone. I have contacted all of the managers. I have contacted their head office and still the harassment persists because they have their heads so far up their own *rses that they don't care about customers. Now I've been forced to report them to nada and the Property Ombudsman. AM, you're a bunch of useless, egotistical cowboys.
If I needed a lettings agent, I would NEVER use this lot

Jodie was very efficient and helpful. Phillip, who is head of lettings, was also very helpful providing advice and support on more complex questions. They’re a great team.

GoogleI don't even know where to begin. We just moved to our new property two weeks ago and already had soooo many problems with this agency. There's no communication between them, me and my husband receive calls from different people there asking the same things or giving different information about the same issue. They usually don't do what they say they are going to do and when they actually do, is because you've sent emails and called everyone there hundreds of times! Last night we went there to pick up one of our keys at 6:49pm and they were already closed. They have a huge sign in their door saying it closes at 8pm. Then we called to all the numbers we already have from them and no one answers. We left several messages and they don't even come back to you to ask for sorry or to say whatever they have to say! I just called them and apparently they close at 7pm!! hahaha hilarious! In their website they wrote "While the rest of the industry goes home, we are still available" - What a joke!! It's not just the worst agency, is the worst service I've ever seen after living in several countries in the world. The previous tenants told us the agency was a nightmare, but we never imagined it would be so bad straight away! It's not even the landlord's fault, but this agency just makes you regret your decision to move to your new house.
