GoogleFirst meeting established a reasonable market price for the sale of my late father's property. The sales process, including agency fees and conveyancing options, were clearly explained. A brochure and subsequent progress and sales correspondence was timely and by email. This was a quick straightforward sale. The conveyancing process remains out of date and unfit for purpose but this is out of the scope of the estate agents. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this estate agency to others.

GoogleWe had a difficult sale with various setbacks that are unfortunately part of the house buying process in the UK. James, Caleb and Matt at Alan De Maide worked tirelessly to resolve the issues, communicating with other estate agents and numerous solicitors in the chain. What was most reassuring is that someone was always available to take a call or reply to an email and although it wasn't always good news it always appeared to be delivered honestly, transparently and professionally which massively helped to reduce anxiety and maintain confidence in their process and that our chain was intact. I am not planning on ever moving again! But, if I was then I would recommend James and his team at Alan De Maide in Orpington.

While we didn’t go for this property, Ralph stayed in touch and arranged further viewings, eventually getting us in to view our new home before it went to market. Unfortunately, I can’t give 5 stars as another agent within the team was very rude and unpleasant to deal with and somewhat ruined the experience for us.
