We bought our property through him in 1997 and he has now sold the same property on our behalf 28 years later in 2025. Throughout this period he has professionally given us valuations until we finally took the plunge this year to sell. David handled the whole process with utmost care & patience, not only to us and our property , but also any prospective buyers , in what has been not the easiest year for sales and,in turn, buyers. Alan de Maid provide an excellent service. I put my property up for sale through them and they, first assessed the value or the property, sent a professional photographer and produced a good advertising page for people to view. They sent potential buyers regularly to view and always treated the property with respect. They communicate well, always giving feedback, and are thoroughly professional. We initially visited the Orpington branch to ask about a probate valuation for our late father's house. The manager James offered to do this for us and said that if we were interested in selling via them to get in touch when we felt ready. There was no pressure to progress until we wanted to. Once we felt ready, photos were taken and a realistic guide price agreed, and we had viewers and offers very soon.
