I was very happy with the service from the Orpington branch of Alan de Maid. We had four valuations, one was very low, one very high and two in the middle one of which was from Alan de Maid which I always felt was sensible and pitched in the right ball park. Pictures and promotional pack were good quality. I had contact or dealings with most of the team at various times and every was friendly but very professional. Last year, I sold another property in Bromley and used two different high street agents, but in terms of starting with a realistic price with good marketing literature, my experience of Alan de Maid was far superior. All round, very good job, sold the property quickly and my appreciation to James, Caleb and the team.

I would thoroughly recommend Alan de Maid if you are looking to sell your house. We engaged James and his team to sell our house in Chelsfield earlier this year, unfortunately the first sale via them fell through on the day of exchange, so we had to get back out quickly to source new buyers. The team sourced a new buyer within two weeks, which avoided a lot of additional heartache. James, Matt and Dario were always available to talk through the process, and managed to balance their role acting for both the buyer and seller. We have been happy with the service received from ADM and have been in contact with Rebecca who has been very helpful in keeping us updated. Other than the initial hiccup where we were not aware of the service charge that was attached to the freehold before we put in our offer and mortgage application, the rest of the process was very well handled by ADM. Our purchase was not an easy one, and took 7 months with lots of legal issues associated with the service charge and nature of the sale. However ADM and Rebecca have kept us informed throughout the process and chased both the seller and our solicitors to push through the sale. There were multiple times where we thought the sell would fall through. We received more update and advice from ADM than from our solicitors!! Would recommend Rebecca and ADM to other potential buyers. 4.5/5.

What a fabulous service we received when selling my elderly parents bungalow in Orpington. They were very mindful that relocating my elderly parents to Suffolk was stressful for them. They were incredibly kind, caring and never pushy. Their communication was excellent and their photos of the property were very professional.
