I was very happy with the service I received from Alan de Maid (Chislehurst). Thomas Kenny was the agent I was liaising with on my purchase. Throughout the process, Tom was very professional, proactive and genuinely committed to helping me every step of the way. Communication was great, every question addressed quickly and clearly, I always felt fully informed throughout the whole process. Tom’s knowledge of the market was exceptional, his advice made the entire experience smooth and less stressful. Sam was so helpful with our house purchase; it wasn't the easiest, given we were first time buyers at the bottom of a long chain, but she was always available for questions, and always proactive in updating or informing us whenever things had changed. Sam was especially busy as the chain moved to exchange & completion, and had to go above and beyond to communicate & organise with solicitors and vendors along the chain, but she was always open and supportive during this time. Alan De Maid, and Sam in particular, ensured to do all they could in speeding our purchase along, whilst being supportive and informative. I would definitely recommend Sam and her services going forward.

Peter and Eva helped us with the sale of our property. They were both approachable and always happy to answer any questions that we had early on. They would make sure to find time to jump on a call to discuss any concerns that we might have. I faced the daunting task of finding an estate agent to sell my deceased sisters house. Alan deMaid were recommended by a neighbour to the property. Living 80 miles away I made an appointment with Peter to meet him at the house. From that moment I knew the right agents had been chosen. Peter was very professional in his appraisal of the property and suggested a price that was very fair. Within a week we had a buyer and I was always kept informed of progress. They went above what one would expect an estate agent to do, even delivering books to a legatee. If I had any questions they were answered in good humour and I never felt rushed. As a buyer through Alan De Maid, Chislehurst, I was very pleased with the service I received. Peter and Maria were very quick to respond to queries and acted efficiently to keep the process moving between the solictors for both sides. They were also very good at keeping the pressure on us (as buyers) to move towards a completion date for their sellers. Even during challenging COVID times, they were able to facilitate us to have a few visits to the property to allow for electrical etc checks. Having viewed a property previously with another agent, I can say Alan De Maid compared very favourably - 3 months later, I am still waiting for the agent of the other property to follow up with me in relation to some questions. Even if that property had sold, not great behaviour towards a keen buyer.
