I would thoroughly recommend Alan de Maid if you are looking to sell your house. We engaged James and his team to sell our house in Chelsfield earlier this year, unfortunately the first sale via them fell through on the day of exchange, so we had to get back out quickly to source new buyers. The team sourced a new buyer within two weeks, which avoided a lot of additional heartache. James, Matt and Dario were always available to talk through the process, and managed to balance their role acting for both the buyer and seller. They were friendly and professional throughout the process, and helped drive it to a successful conclusion. Many thanks to James and the team.

Where do I begin with experience myself and my husband had with Alan De Maid? Firstly they were not open with the fact the property we we about to purchase had subsidence problems, we found this out through our solicitors. When I enquired about this with our estate agent, Robin he told us that he had not known about this issue but Munsoor, the Senior Branch Manager did know. I find this hard to believe that Robin didn't know. Secondly they took advantage of the fact that we were first time buyers and used threatening tactics, such as saying we were going to lose the sale and that the buyers are going to pull out, when we were negotiating the exchange of contracts and a move in date. Something that is completely ridiculous to say. Overall they were unnecessarily pushy. I know that estate agents are always going to be on the side of the vendor however the complete disregard for us made the experience even more stressful then it needed to be. When Robin was on annual leave and Maria was dealing with our enquiries it was smoother as her advice came from experience and was understanding of our position- but alas it was only working with us for a week. I would recommend not using Alan De Maid.

Where do I start. Over valued. Poor comms very poor viewing literally this is the kitchen this is the bathroom. We had to badger the office for feedback and developments. Poor write up of property described as 4 bed when its a 5/6. Walk in wardrobe described as large cupboard. They generally didn't seem that bothered in having us as clients. over 18 weeks two viewing.

Sam was so helpful with our house purchase; it wasn't the easiest, given we were first time buyers at the bottom of a long chain, but she was always available for questions, and always proactive in updating or informing us whenever things had changed. Sam was especially busy as the chain moved to exchange & completion, and had to go above and beyond to communicate & organise with solicitors and vendors along the chain, but she was always open and supportive during this time. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Amir was rude to my wife and they wont put a offer in without prove even though legally they have to put forward any offer. We viewed a property and they refused to put the offer on same day but they favored a easy purchase. Ross then encouraged a bidding war.
