We have been pretty blown away by our experience at Charters and that is very much down to the wonderful Michaela! My husband and I have recently decided to move to the countryside after years in London and we had quite a specific house in mind that we couldn’t quite find. We had a chat with Michaela and she found not just one but about 5 houses that suited us so well! We did a morning of viewings and Michaela made it so easy with meticulous planning before hand. She was not only incredibly knowledgable and professional, but also just incredibly friendly. It felt like she was really dedicated to finding us the perfect house. As first time buyers we needed a bit of a helping hand and reassurance and Michaela did all of this with bells on! We couldn’t recommend the whole experience with Charters enough, and a big thank you to Michaela for finding us our dream home!!

Super friendly and helpful team

I had the pleasure of being shown around a property in Southampton by Ella. I’ve been really impressed by Charters so far with great communication throughout booking and viewing this property. Ella’s super friendly demeanour made the whole process stress free. Despite me being slightly late to the viewing (after getting a little lost) Ella was really understanding and didn’t make me feel at all rushed. Fantastic estate agents, who care about finding the right property

Whilst we have not purchased or sold through Charters, we have done a significant amount of viewing of properties in the area, and it was very noticeable that their staff go above and beyond to help find the right property for us. Particular mention should be made of Nathan Ford, who time after time sent us properties which were far more in tune with our needs than other estate agents and often before they launched online. Nathan is excellent at listening to prospective buyers and it felt far more like a bespoke service because of the attention he gave. If we were in a position to be selling, I would definitely use Charters as I would be confident that their team would be able to find a suitable buyer.

We have been eyeing a particular property for some time and recently contacted Charters to arrange a viewing. The also suggested another property nearby that might suit? We met Richard at the first property, his knowledge was first class and answered all our questions, as he did the with the 2nd property. Great experience with the team at the Avenue, Southampton. Arranging viewings was quick and easy and able to be arranged via email, which was really useful for us. Once we found the property that fitted us they made the offer process easy and dealt professionally with our slightly odd questions and requests! We dealt with Ned and Kevin, both were helpful and knowledgeable and responded to queries quickly. We are new to the area and they were able to put us in touch with surveyors and solicitors as well as give advice in the area. Our purchase is now progressing and I have every confidence that things will run smoothly!

My first port of call was on the phone…

My first port of call was on the phone to an assistant Kerry in the Southampton Branch. I was wishing to view a retirement flat on behalf of my elderly father. Kerry understood straight away what I was trying to do. She was extremely understanding and arranged a viewing for us. This again was very efficient and gave me and my sister an opportunity to see if it would be suitable before taking our father on a second viewing. A second viewing was with Simon which again went to plan and resulted in my father making an offer to purchase the flat. Simon then came to my fathers house to sort out putting it on the market and really worked with the continuity of the same person being involved. I have also had regular updates from the progression team (Steve) which has been very helpful. If it wasn't for Kerry being so helpful from the outset this may not have happened. Just prior to this we had had a very poor experience with another estate agency which had put me off but Charters have been the complete opposite.
