This is definitely a very efficient, reliable and trustworthy property company! I went to register with them in the morning and received a call from Samuel Scott in the afternoon with good news for us! He arranged the earliest viewing for us and got us an offer from the landlord, Samuel is a very courteous, polite and helpful staff. He used his expertise to help us solve our problems. We were cash buyers with no chain.The process took nigh on 5 months until completion.The estate Agent was faultless in the whole process.We had a very diligent young man Stephen Henry who worked for the after Sales team to guide us through every step of the way.The problems that arose were somewhat frustrating but the stress and anxiousness were alleviated by Stephen's very calm efficient manner. I recently sold my tenanted apartment, this had to coincide with the tenancy ending, as well as keeping my buyer. Fiona ELLIS was so helpful at all stages of my sale. Always available to contact for assistance and guidance at crucial stages of the sale. Even when I thought there was a concern, Fiona was able to bring the sale back on track. Simon Edser, a real gem!

It is not often that you meet someone who is as dedicated to his work as Simon Edser is. He has a genuine passion for his job and does it with integrity and a remarkable joie de vivre. Aside from his impressive knowledge of not only the area but also of the history of each and every property he presents you with, he is unbelievably patient, personable, polite and most of all, hilarious. He always responded to any queries we had very diligently, even though there were times he was doing so out of office hours.Had it not been for him, I would have possibly used a different agency. He is a true asset to the company.

Claire was brilliant, showing us around a few properties, always knowledgeable about each property, and taking the time to really understand what we were after. She even came in on a Sunday to show us around the property we eventually bought!Jo was so helpful throughout, always available (even when I imagine I was becoming a little tiresome trying to push things along everyday!) and did a great job with a seller who was dragging their heels! Renting in Winchester

Charters have provided a first-class service for the three years in which I have rented my one-bedroom flat in Winchester. Everything has been smooth, from viewing the flat to acquisition, liaising with the landlord about renewals, reporting things that needed to be fixed, beginning and end of tenancy, etc. Helen Nicol in particular has been great: easy to get hold of, quick to respond via email, efficient and understanding. Charters stay in regular contact but also leave you alone to enjoy the property. You can always pop into their offices where they are friendly and generous with their time. Couldn't recommend them more highly and would gladly rent or buy with them in the future!

Letting Experience with Sarah Bainbridge

After searching for rentals for several months, Sarah came through and delivered on all and every front. When we lost hope due to the extremely competitive nature of the market, Sarah was there to help, her perseverance ultimately being the reasoning for us (Partner and I) eventually finding a place. Sarah went truly above and beyond, extremely responsive with communication, working all hours and I cannot fault her. After our abysmal experience with a multitude of Estate Agencies in Winchester, Charters, and more importantly Sarah, were reliable, punctual and delivered when we needed it. Would suggest using Charters if looking for rentals (as that's my only experience with them thus far) based on the excellent experience I have had with them.

So fast and extremely efficient!

My friends and I got in touch with Charters a week ago in regards to renting a property, Sarah Bainbridge (Lettings Negotiator) was able to provide a viewing that same day! As soon as we saw the property, we knew we wanted it, and Sarah was so friendly, clear and communicative with us in terms of starting the application process. She even sent us an email to get the ball rolling as we were leaving the building.We were determined to get things sorted as soon as possible (though with no pressure put on staff), and got straight to it. Sarah and her colleague, Martha O'Sullivan (Pre-Tenancy Manager) have both been so quick to respond and have been so immensely effective at helping us through the application/referencing/documenting process. Again it has been one week since we viewed the property, we are currently awaiting reference approval amd are set to move in the next couple of weeks.I cannot recommend Charters enough and am extremely happy (and fortunate) to have had their help.
