Above and beyond

We got to know Nony and the Charters team in Winchester as part of our 15 month quest to find our 'forever home' in Twyford. Nony is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and local market and works tierlessly for clients and purchasers alike. She really took the time to understand what we were looking for and even though we were selling our property through another agent Nony gave us great advice about the sale of our house. This meant that when Nony called us to give us first viewing on what she was confident would be the perfect house for us we were in a position to proceed immediately.

Professional and likeable lady

Victoria is professional, listens to your requirements and is very good at identifying appropriate properties. She accepts feedback well on properties and appears to have a genuine interest in her job. She worked hard to get me a viewing on a property when her diary was already full, which we really appreciated. Excellent communication from the first telephone enquiry

Victoria was so professional and very friendly. She had all the information I needed for the property I was viewing and was very accommodating when I wanted to view the property again and then a third time which resulted in putting in an offer! Victoria has a lovely sincerity about her and I know that she is a great asset where ever she works as she just naturally wants to help. I was buying on this occasion but I wouldn't hesitate to put my property on the market with Victoria as I know she would always put her helpful enthusiasm into the given task. Thank you again!

Highly professional and the best agent we have dealt with

Having finally become able to buy our first home we began searching in July 2017 and thankfully we contacted Victoria who has been fantastic from start to finish. Having dealt with other agents, from other companies, we can confirm that Victoria has far exceeded anyone else we have dealt with, in terms of her professionalism, dedication and knowledge of the market. Victoria's most reassuring quality is that she really listened to what we wanted and tailored her services to fulfil our criteria. To prove this we recently had an offer accepted on a property that wasn't even listed on the internet, it came onto the market and she contacted us immediately. This further demonstrated that with Victoria you are not just commission, or a sales target you are actually a valued customer and throughout the whole process she has gone above and beyond, time after time to try and secure us our first home. We cannot recommend Victoria enough, she is a lovely individual who (after dealing with other agents) is definitely a dying breed of estate agents. She is incredibly passionate about her job and takes huge pride in finding people their dream home. So much so I believe she is more excited to have found us a home than we are.

Friendly and Proactive

Victoria is lovely, she is very friendly and we have established a great rapport with her through the house buying process. Tom has lead the way in our property search

Tom has been up there as one of the best and most tenacious Estate Agents we have had the pleasure to work with. As a family we are very picky about choosing the right house, but Tom has always introduced the right properties and quickly adapted to our situational changes. Would highly recommend Kevin

As first time buyers with complex Visa and income issues, we had a lot of questions and the mortgage process was quite a nerve racking concept.. We originally contacted Trussle and began the process with them, which turned out to be incredibly stressful and only made us feel more nervous about the whole thing. We contacted Kevin after a week of back and forth with Trussle and he was able to answer all of our questions in an hour over the phone on a Saturday and have our application submitted by Monday. He managed to find a better deal than the one we had been discussing with Trussle too. He was very reassuring as it's clear when you speak to him that he is incredibly experienced and he made the things I was worried about feel like simple things to solve. Above and beyond

As a first time, solo home buyer- this is a daunting minefield! I can honestly say that without Noni at the helm navigating me through my search I would have made some very grave errors. Charters have been an excellent estate agent keeping me informed and always on the receiving end of upto date property information. I have to say also, the office is an immaculate and well presented, relaxing space to be in. Noni went above and beyond sending me personal email updates I'm sure even as late at 11pm! Her advice on surveyencing and her extensive knowledge of Winchester and it's properties has been invaluable. A more empathetic and harder working professional in the world of property sales

Tom is a very rare professional in the world of property sales. He is extremely diligent, passionately committed and empathetic to your precise and often challenging needs. My experience so far with estate agents, when trying to find a home, has been largely brief encounters; capture some basics and put you on a mailing list. My first call with Tom was more of a consultative collaboration, helping me to filter a long list of properties, sharing and talking through photos and layouts. By the next day he had arranged, very conveniently, a 'tour' of viewings that took us from one property to the next, cleverly covering minimum ground to see the most homes in the shortest time. It was impressive to say the least. He has a wealth of experience, he listens extremely well and doesn't try to talk you out of your point of view, he just moves on, continuing the hard work. I have already started recommending Tom and would purposely seek him out, should I look to move home again in the future.

Thank Goodness for Jo!

Jo, is a true star! The buying process is not something I had been through before but luckily for me Jo was on hand pretty much 24/7 with much needed support and clear communication. She kept the whole process constantly moving in the right direction with very regular updates and managing communication with all parties involved. Jo dealt with my daily phone calls exceptionally well, handling each conversation with understanding and her lovely personable nature. I am sure her workload is extremely heavy with lots of clients to manage but she made us feel like this was the only purchase she was handling and we were her top priority - I am sure that’s how everyone must feel when they have Jo on their side. Tom Meek- Very friendly, helfpul, well informed and went the extra mile when really needed!

Tom was great from the first time we walked into Charters right up to signing for our perfect house. After just one meeting he knew exactly what type of house we were after! He introduced us to the house we ended up loving and buying. But also provided a list of other options & viewings that were all very suitable to our wants and needs. I particularly remember a day at nearly 7pm where we were deciding between our new house and a house from another agent and had to make a quick decision, Even at this late hour on a Friday he managed to stop what he was doing and personally show us round the property last minute. We were sold after this viewing and put in an offer the following day. Always easy to get hold off, he made the buying process much easier for my girlfriend and I!

Excellent Service and Advice

Kevin has arranged our last 2 mortgages and both times has got us a great deal. My wife previously had bad credit from university and her being a doctor means she has banded pay for on call work (which some companies do not take into account). Kevin was able to work with our situation, finding the best mortgage for us that would accept our credit rating and the banding pay. We were on a slightly higher rate but that was expected due to the credit score. When remortgaging Kevin has recently got us a fantastic mortgage offer and due to the rise in our property value we have been able to take out some equity to pay off loans and therefore reduce our monthly outgoings and increase our disposable income at a much needed time of expecting our third child, with extra to do some home improvements. Kevin is a great financial advisor with vast knowledge of products. I would advise anyone and everyone to use him. Tom

Bought a house in Winchester through Charters. Nony listened to our brief, which was quite specific, gave us details and appointments to see a number of houses which met the brief pretty well... and then gave us details of two houses which didn't seem to meet the brief at all. She persuaded us to go along anyway, no harm in looking. We were pretty surprised to like both of them... even more surprised to end up buying one of them. Very happy that we did. Versus the other estate agents we signed on with I think she took the time to look beyond the headline brief and work out the things which were really important to us.
