Excellent throughout

My wife and I relocated to Winchester and during our 12 month property search got to know most of the Agents in the local area. From our experience Charters stood out from the rest principally due to their professionalism, attention to detail and local knowledge. We eventually bought our property through one of the Charter's sales team, Robert McLaughlin, who we got to know well during our search and who we would recommend without hesitation! Once we agreed the purchase we also found the follow up and sales management to be equally professional. When we come to sell our property Charters will be our first call.

How the personal touch can be a winner

Nony was insightful, very focussed and clearly knew the business inside out. Her great strength was knowing and understanding exactly what we wanted and keeping us fully informed. I really do miss receiving my Friday night update on the property sales from her - that email alone was an incredibly helpful and reassuring - packed with information and sent with a lighter, personal tone that really helped in the very stressful world of buying and selling. That level of engagement was rarely seen by me in my year-long experience of the property market and was very powerful in establishing a level of trust between client and estate agent. Very trusting, easy to deal with and would be very happy to do business again.

This has been a long difficult and traumatic process. Leanne Conyers was always professional courteous and incredilbly helpful on each occasion I had dealings with her. leanne went above and beyond the call of duty giving me her mobile, texting me back when there were queries regarding the sale that arose in office hours but when Leanne was actually out of the office that particular week!! My solicitor found her very helpful to work with. Leanne was full of useful advice and was an excellent anchor/point of reference for all the parties involved with the sale of both properties. Professionalism with a personal touch

Well done Leanne! When the chain reached a difficult hurdle I felt that Leanne really empathised with my situation and remained supportive and calm throughout. It was a situation that was completely beyond my control and I know she was able to keep the chain together. I'm extremely relieved to have got through a very stressful time and a huge upheaval when at times it looked very tricky. Leanne was always personable and I really felt she was listening to me and not just engaging in estate agent style platitudes. She was always easy to reach on the telephone and always returned calls if requested. This is my first experience of Charters and my impression is that it is a well oiled machine! I am also impressed by the initial process of finding the right property for me. Charters really listened to my needs and advised me to look at a house that I possibly would have overlooked. And it turned out to be perfect for me.

Think of all the positive things that an agent can do for you - and that's what Leanne delivers! Leanne has a very professionalism yet personable approach. Great service, cheerful and calm!

Leanne was brilliant. We actually sold our property through a certain purple coloured online agent (Leanne acted for the house we bought) and the full sale process was so much easier for having a 'proper' agent involved. After the sale of our property, we had to rely heavily on Leanne to keep the whole chain moving, particularly as we had a very tight (7 weeks) deadline to complete (and after we accepted the offer on our home, our agent left us to it - which we understood they would do but a little stupidly did not comprehend what this actually meant for the added stress in the process) . Leanne pushed everyone hard (but politely) to make the 7 weeks a reality and we happily did, in for Christmas. Personally, I found her cheerful approach very refreshing! Would we use Charters now if we sold, yes (but most likely only if Leanne was still there)!!

A natural and helpful agent

My husband and I thought we might like to buy in Winchester and I briefly met Nony when I 'popped' into the Winchester agency to collect a set of details for a property that tempted us in the window.. Nony took our details and requirements and true to her word, she kept us in touch with what was on the market, new to the market, etc., BUT more than that, she added what is very rare- 'the personal touch'( if you can remember what that is these days!) Her emails and information were 'real', honest, helpful. and although we decided not to buy in Winchester, it was no reflection on Nony. She is a joy.

Very helpful in a very unhelpful chain!

Leanne was brilliant the whole way my first house purchase. We had a very difficult and slow chain that she continuously pestered on mine and the seller's request. I was kept updated all the time and felt that she really had my best interests at heart the entire time. I am a conveyancer so know the process well but Leanne chased not only my seller's solicitors but also the top of the chain's solicitors who were not helpful in the slightest and made the process up to exchange very difficult.. In my job I deal with estate agents a lot and do not always have the highest opinion of them but Leanne and Charters as a whole really impressed me and I would happily recommend and work with them in the future!
