Charters provided a swift and efficient valuation and sales service culminating in a very quick sale at a guide price in excess of my expectations. We were all led to believe we had a short chain with no mortgages. Charter's after sales service then took over. Well into exchange we found out there was actually a split chain under us with around 20 transactions. This is where Sasha really came into her own. Along with Shoosmiths she made sure she talked to all of the chain almost on a daily basis and coaxed them to Exchange. No mean feat given the size and complexity of the chain. In a world where the word estate agent is typically dominated by unpleasant associations I must say that Charters do their best to buck the trend. They are genuinely helpful, knowledgeable, happy people who you can get hold of pretty easily.
The sale of the property was an absolutely painful process with the first buyer falling through and the second buyer having some major issues with the sale of her property. The whole ordeal dragged on for over half a year and I got a significant amount of grey hairs due to the various solicitors that were involved in the process. Charters however did their best to speed things up, keep me informed and did pretty much everything in their power to get this pushed through.
I would recommend you use Charters to sell your property as they know what they are doing.
