Excellent - Friendly professional service

There are two key reasons as to why we have rated Charters 5 stars. The first is the staff. Everyone at Charters who have 'touched' our sale have been totally enthusiastic about the project - to my mind enthusiasm is the most hoped for element of any transaction and with all of the team: Elliott, Nony, Tom, Connor,Jo (Marketing); Leanne, Catherine, and others - they have all been enthusiastic, fully professional and made it easy to do business. The second reason is the communication. I know how hard internal communication is to achieve in any Company. Charters have got this cracked. As soon as any new development in the process occurs - they all seem to know about it., instantly. I imagine it's a centrally held database type system - no problem with that, but it does rely upon users updating immediately, which they are seemingly disciplined to do. In my working environment we never seemed to get this right - and we were forever lagging behind and reminding everyone to update!

Two rentals so far

In early 2016 I needed my first ever rental property, and Lily was first on the scene. The first property she showed me is the one I ended up in. Eight months later I needed my next one, and Lily remembered me from before and managed to help me secure my next rental. Lily's always very friendly and efficient, responding to emails and calls quickly, (and often outside of what I would call "normal working hours", showing a dedication above and beyond the norm). Next time I come to rent, Lily will likely be the one I turn to for assistance.

If you want to work with an estate agent that provides outstanding results, listens to your requirements, communicates effectively and is willing to take the time to find the appropriate property for you then the person you should be speaking to is Nony. It is important to take on board - you should not be surprised if you start to feel you are the only client in the world. Yours concerns are met with complete respect and Nony will communicate in such a way that you will feel that the information she is providing and the decisions required are without any pressure. Nony is not about the £££££ signs rather the relationships with her clients to deliver the best results possible - an opportunity for both parties. If you are added to her magical list - be thankful because you have just landed the best. Charters are an exceptional estates agents from top downward as very recently I happen to meet Elliot, a really nice gentleman and was very much interested in the client - found out later he was one of the owners.

First class efficiency, professionalism and friendliness

We've just bought a Buy to Let property in Winchester through Nony at Charters. We had a limited budget and a big list of requirements. Within 5 - 10 minutes of first speaking with Nony on the phone, she had booked 5 property viewings for us, one after the other, for the forthcoming weekend. She also got the letting a team to contact us 5 minutes later to discuss our rental plans. Nony's extensive knowledge of and advice on the Winchester rental market was invaluable - and we ended up buying just the 7th house we viewed. We had absolute confidence in Nony finding what we wanted - and she took the stress out of the whole search and buying process with her efficiency and regular communications. Nony is super friendly and has a great sense of humour. If we had the money, we'd definitely buy another buy-to-let through her!!! Thank you Nony!

A simple transaction

A simple sale and a short chain - no problem. Last words. The buyer tried to be clever, information from them was sparse and proved to be unreliable. Our purchase was equally simple and then the complications meant we were in danger of losing it. Then in stepped Leanne. What a girl. Cool, persistent, determined, a calming voice, a ready explanation, and inventive.and above all we were kept in touch even when things were not happening as they should.. Stirling service with a personal touch

Simon was a true professional from the first meeting. Thorough and interested and taking time to understand our personal situation, talking us through the fine details of the process as this was our first mortgage. He managed to find us an excellent deal, even with complicated breakdown of existing funds and incomes. Once the mortgage was agreed in principle his assistant Marie gave us daily up dates with the progress and chased the broker to get things completed as quickly as possible. I would highly recommend Simon Aston as a mortgage broker. He made the experience as personal and painless as it possibly could be and was friendly to work with.

Brilliant service

It was an excellent service that Simon provided and I would recommend him to anyone looking for help with a mortgage. Even if your situation throws up complications such as mine, he was keen to work at it and provide the best solution. Sale

Charters have dealt with the sale of our property and although, it has been a difficult sale, have kept us informed all along the way. At the very end, when we were nearly ready to pull out, Nony did all she could to keep all parties very focussed on what we were all trying to achieve and finally our exchange happened with all parties (I am sure) very pleased! Leanne Conyers is wonderful!

Leanne has been fantastic over the last few months, since the point of securing a chain she has ensured communications have been continuous, she has been so calm, positive and supremely professional. Once you have a sale in place and a house you want to buy, then emotions move from the relaxed fun of house hunting to rather more tense affair, hoping for the whole thing to actually happen. Whenever there was a worrying radio silence Leanne worked with her colleagues, other agents and solicitors to preserve the chain. She provided guidance throughout and is clearly expert in successfully reaching completion. I wasn't aware there was such a role in Estate Agencies, however it has made a huge difference to the continuity of the sale and Leanne has added just that extra sparkle. I lost my husband in March and the thought of selling my house was so daunting. I had danced around with the idea a few weeks before. When I finally made the decision to go ahead and sell all the staff I had contact with were wonderful. I needed one person to guide me through and Nony was that person. Simply Amazing at everything.... what an asset Nony is to Charters

I have to say that I have never ever come across anyone as determined, professional and tenacious as Nony. We had an extremely difficult sale on our hands and at one point was almost non-proceedable. Nony managed to rescue the situation and never gave up. Negotiations had got a lot tougher post Brexit but Nony managed to successfully argue our case and got us more or less the Guide Price. Her negotiating skills are the best I have ever come across and I have been a business man in the city for the past 20 years! She has been a real pleasure to deal with and I have fully enjoyed her sense of humour. I would very highly recommend Nony - she is a very rare diamond.

Want to thank Leanne for being so attentive and persistent in helping my purchase go through relatively quickly despite the usual issues. I bought the house I have now sold through Charters four years ago, It was owing to the excellent service I received from Nony at that time that I decided to sell through Charters this year. In order to have measurements taken for carpets and blinds, I needed 'out of hours' access to the house prior to my purchase and before exchange had even taken place. Nony met me on a dark, dank night in February and waited with me for an hour so that the measurements could be taken.
