FacebookTerrible maintenance service. Reported a leak on 29th September - still no visit or fixing done. in contact via email but no-one is being pro-active. Apparently this is an issue that's happened plenty of times before so this issue should really be resolved before the next tennant moves in.

Every member of staff I dealt with was professional, friendly and very, very helpful. Their valuation of my property proved to be perfectly pitched and their marketing and sales service was enthusiastic throughout. Their after sales service was really impressive too, keeping me informed at each stage, highlighting any potential hiccups, marshalling solicitors at both ends while ensuring the sale stayed on track. I really couldn't recommend them more highly. I did consider using some of the 'no-commission, fee only' agents and I did speak with a few while hunting for the right agent. I can only say I'm glad I went with Moginie James. The service I received could not be bettered. They clearly understand the local property market and how best to deliver for their clients. Peerless.

GoogleAwful service from beginning to end of an 8-month tenancy. Misquoted agency fees at the beginning, and ended up having to pay £100+ more than we expected. Only one point of contact who was constantly unavailable and, when in the office, slow to act upon anything. We lived in a flat with a broken sofa, broken heating, broken bed etc for more than 3 months before anything was done. After the building was discovered to have cladding which left it vulnerable to fires following Grenfell, we were promised a safety inspection of our flat which never happened, leaving us unsure whether we were safe living there! I would absolutely never use them again, I was left feeling unsafe and frustrated constantly and I now feel ripped at the shocking “service” they provided us.

We are currently viewing houses for our second house and I was really disappointed when I asked to book an appointment for a second viewing I was told I would only get 15/20 minutes and that anyway that would be plenty as we’d already seen it once and that the house wasn’t big...I understand saturdays are busy and estate agents need to fit as many appointments as possible but I wasn’t offered another day when I asked about going on a week day...

I chose Moginie James to see my property due to their excellent reputation, however my experience didn't live up to it. The branch staff were very good, but didn't do enough to market the property meaning it was nearly 6 weeks before I even had a viewing. When I was passed over to the sales progression team I found the service impersonal and the process dragged on for a long time before the buyers pulled out. Not enough was done to evidence the claims made by the buyer and I decided to change to a different agent.

Sold a house through Moginie James earlier in the year and the service was exceptional. From their initial valuation, to the way they marketed the house and on to a smooth completion, the staff were professional, friendly and extremely helpful throughout. They believed in the house we were selling and achieved the price we wanted in no time (other estate agents had blatantly under- valued for a quick sale).
Had the pleasure a year later of being on the opposite side and purchasing via the same agents. Same great service and the Sales Progression Team are first class - no query too trivial or too much and they're on to it straight away!
Would recommend whole heartedly.

I have moved far too many times than average and therefore dealt with numerous letting agents; from student-based to professional.
These guys couldn't have possibly made it any simpler. I work full time and long hours, so usually attempting to collate the relevant info in a short time schedule is a challenge. I've barely had to lift a finger this time round and, what's even more delightful, is that there have been none of those pesky "fees" that seem to occur once you're in too deep.
I would absolutely recommend Moginie James, and not soley based on the fact that my iPhone autocorrects their first name to "Amigo".

Once I had reported the fault using the website , I had a phonecall the next morning from the agent . He arranged for an engineer to visit at no inconvenience to myself as the engineering company were able to collect the key from the agent and visit whilst I was in work . It was decided that due to the nature of the problem a new fridgefreezer was required , this was sorted by the agent and the engineer promptly again with no inconvenience to myself.
