I purchased a house marketed by Martyn Gerrard's North Finchley branch and although I was not their client I have to say I was impressed by their professionalism and endeavour to conclude the transaction positively for all parties concerned. This on fact was the second home I had purchased from them and like anyone who has been through the process knows,it never runs I as smoothly as you would like. The first purchase there were issue with building regulations compliance and without their assistance in resolving these matters I don't think we would have completed the transaction. The second, involved obtaining outline planning permission and MG were great in managing the buyers and sellers expectations. A house purchase is possibly the most stressful transaction anyone will undertake in their lives and having a knowledgeable devoted and assertive agent mediating makes life so much easer for everyone. Ask for Craig Thompkins. He will be our first port of call when we decide to sell.

Worst ever! Appalling ! We had a very bad experience with this agency. Flat was old and molded . Washing machine broke down every month and it always took 2 weeks to repair it. Walls were dirty, and agency paint only some spots , so it looked very ugly . In addition they tried to charge us for that. After all, they don't want to return our deposit. We really regret for renting flat with Martin Gerrard. Please, avoid them!

Re: Kyri Ayed I first met Kyri over 4 years ago when he sold a property for me at North Finchley. Without him, the chain would have collapsed. There were 6 people in the chain (6 households) - 6 people selling and buying simultaneously. He worked tirelessly to ensure the chain remained in place and I personally cannot thank him enough. A buyer was found for my house mid October and completion took place early December. Without Kyri's commitment and negotiation skills the chain would have collapsed and all 6 households would have been back to square one. He is currently helping a member of my family find suitable premises and I feel, without doubt, they are in safe hands. Thank you Kyri.

Be careful, watch the fees they charging, used to be trusted agency, now seems downhill. I gave them flat to rent, was all good, tenant stayed over the year, but after we applied rolling contract as tenants werent sure on move out date. Gerards sent invoice for three months saying that they dont proceed invoices for less than that, tenant moved out after two months. I raised the issue, Lizzy replied that they dont refund fees, thats all. Now Andrew and Lizzy from North Finchley branch ignoring my emails. Its principal, amount is small but shows a lot about them. I wanted to give them flat on the next period, never again. Be careful.

My elderly parents sold their home of over 40 years recently through the Martyn Gerrard office in North Finchley. Craig, the manager's, experience really told and he guided them through the whole process, holding their hands at every turn. The process was very sensitive for my folks as they had not bought or sold for so long and had brought up the family in this house. He even dealt with the agent in Brighton, where they moved to! Craig's team were fantastic and used kid gloves with my parents and I would happily recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell in the area. Having experienced MG service previously I had no hesitation in asking the lettings team of Andrew and Karine at the North Finchley office to find us quality recommended tenants for our two newly build flats at Totteridge Place. Recently put family property up for sale with the help from Kastro in N12 branch. Fantastic agency, very happy buyer

We met Kastro a few months ago whilst looking for our dream home. We had visited a host of properties prior to this and found the majority of agents underhand, dishonest and impersonal verging on rude. Then we met Kastro and he restored our faith in estate agents! We are first time buyers, so going into the process we weren't quite sure what to expect but Kyri has been really excellent. Would Recommend Them To Anyone

Moving can be stressful at the best of times, but when you're four recent graduates who are 'promising' but can't prove it, it's important to have someone not only believe in your situation but also empathise with it. Martyn Gerrard completely came through for never once said 'never', they showed us two properties that suited us perfectly and saw our tenancy right to the end with just a one week turn around. Keshia was our agent. During office hours she was always easy to reach, and always keen to see how she could help us and she was incredibly straight talking and refreshingly honest and therefore helpful. The whole team have made a stressful event far less stressful, including area manager Julian who very ably stepped in whenever Keshia was absent. I would recommend them to anyone.

Great service

We had our first experience with Martyn Gerrard Estate Agency. Unfortunately the landlord has proven to be unreliable and sadly we weren`t able to rent the flat we initially had in mind. We were obviously frustrated as almost 2 weeks passed without any type of reply from the landlord. Against all odds of having an actual positive experience, Keshia and Julian went above and beyond to try an fix our issue. They were very prompt on probably over 50 back and forth emails, constantly trying to find a solution for us with new properties. Very good customer service and with a very professional attitude.
