Friendly, honest and great ongoing service

Our first dealings with Craig at Martyn Gerrard came about as they were the sellers agents we bought our 1st home through. He was the natural choice when we came to sell as we had been impressed by his professionalism and approach to our purchase. He has great knowledge of the local area and his experience in the property field has encourage us to seek his opinion in other purchasing decisions and home improvements. He is always happy to offer his opinion and has given sound advise on property decisions despite there being nothing in it for him. I would not want to sell through anyone else!

Comprehensive advice from an assertive agent with a personal assured service.

I am not the typical reviewer in that rarely have I ever reviewed anything online. However, I was so grateful for the service I receive from Craig that I felt compelled to shout about it, it is the least I can do. For most of us, our home is the most valuable asset we will ever hold. The fact that the gains are tax free, and the way that property prices are going, it is vital to receive the best advice when selling your home to maximise your return. We had various agents valuing our property, some of which came with a higher valuation. I am aware that stock is the life blood of an agencies business, so many will inflate the value of your home just to get it on their books. Rather than come up with just a number, Craig had clearly considered his and was very honest on how he arrived at his appraisal. I was impressed with his knowledge of the local market and it was clear to me that his valuation came with thought and substance. Furthermore, he was determined to understand our position to ensure that he marketed the property in the appropriate manner. He advised us on the best time to "go live" with the property, where the response from most agents was ASAP.. I was happy with the particulars Craig had drawn up and took on board many of his considered suggestions. He followed the sale process from offer to completion with vigour and kept us appraised regularly with developments. For those of us not used to the process it is handy to have an experienced adviser on your side. Craig cared more than just about the sale. There was no doubt that our concerns were his priority. We were happy with the results of his efforts and recommend him highly to anyone looking to sell their property in the N12 area.

On approaching Martyn Gerrard, we were immediately impressed by Craig's local knowledge re pricing and marketing strategies. Ours was not going to be a straightforward sale, but Craig was upbeat & confident. He introduced his sales team and before we knew it, eight people came to our Open House that very Saturday. There was a potentially sticky moment at one point in the final negotiations, but fast & creative thinking from Stuart smoothly closed the deal, to everyone's satisfaction. Sitting in our new home, I still can't believe how painless the sale was, considering the nightmare tales you hear other have suffered. Very much appreciated

Selling through Martyn Gerrard was very straightforward, as would buying have been had the owner of the house we were buying not been outrageously difficult. She made every step a nightmare for us all, but Craig and his team stuck with it and supported us all the way. I was shown to a property by an Agent Lee. He was very friendly and helpful managed to answer all my questions. However the viewing ended in a sour note after Mr Lee dropped a racial slur. This made me very uncomfortable and stopped me putting an offer in as I did not want to be dealing with Mr Lee. Overall great property in a nice area 2/5 stars

Patience of a saint

Julian went above and beyond the call of duty for both the landlord and the tenant.. I can't express just how complicated this deal was and it would have been far easier for him to abandon the process and find an alternative tenant but he didn't and thus secured a brilliant tenant for the landlord. The tenant was foreign and had poor english and zero understanding of negociating or the legal system. Julian made it happen.
