GoogleIf I could leave less than one star I would do. I would not subject my worst enemy to using this service. Renting the property was not the issue - it is what follows. By far the worst and rudest property management service I have ever used. The private landlords they use do not care or properly look after tenants, and Martyn Gerrard facilitate it all. Do not use under any circumstances.
Hi Sam, we are sorry you have been having these problems and we understand your frustration. We certainly didn't intend to be rude and we are sorry that is the way we came across. You reported the issue at the property over the weekend, we sent the contractor round straightaway on Monday and they are dealing with the problem. Your landlord is aware and is in contact with the other leaseholders in the building as the problem affects the building. We will keep you updated.

GoogleVery unprofessional company!!! Team treated badly Please read below how they treat their candidates!! After I had en interview with them I can to check the reviews and honestly I am so disappointed with them. Even on Mc Donalds that its just a hospitality service I have seen a better communication and interview process. They wasted my time and their appearance was very poorly. I had my interview on 14th of February with Katarina. They are a Estate agency and very poorly they do not have an office for an interview. The lady took me on a Costa caffe to do the interview. Very unprofessional and I found it so funny. The employee on Costa told her you need to buy something if you want to sit here and she just ignored her. It was loud and neither of us could hear each other. I had to ask her many times sorry can you repeat coz i cant hear. I felt so bad as i had so many people looking at us weird for having an interview at Costa. Furthermore, Katarina did not made me feel welcome, no hi no nothing just told me come with me and took me at Costa. Furthermore since 14th of February I haven't had any communication from them even tho she said she would get back to me!! At least she could say they hired me or no!! They do not have the act of communication and service Worst experience ever, I keep finding it so funny how a "big company" can have employees interview at Costa and not have communication
Hi Maria, I'm sorry you felt this way about your interview. We realise that for many a job interview can be intimidating and make people nervous. The idea of going to a local coffee shop is to try to put people at their ease by being in a less formal atmosphere where we can have a proper chat to try and get to know the person. Im sorry this wasn't your experience. We appreciate your feedback.

GoogleI have bought and sold several properties through Martyn Gerrard who most people view as the number one estate agents in North London. Most recently I sold a house through their North Finchley Branch. Despite Covid restrictions they were able to entice a very large number of viewings and manage this with great consideration to my tenants. At an initially high-price that I sort there were no serious offers, we had an adult conversation about the finish of my property and dropped the price accordingly at which point it was snapped up immediately. Again despite Covid and the buyer being in a chain they were able to see this transaction through to completion. Communications were excellent throughout and I will continue to use Martyn Gerrard wherever possible.PositiveProfessionalism

When I came back downstairs I caught Lee with his ear up against the door, listening to my wife go to the toilet. I'm still so shocked and embarrassed I haven't had the heart to tell her. Terrible customer service.

GoogleIt takes a certain skill (or naivete on my part) to be impressed by an estate agent when they are informing you of being gazumped. I've never felt so gutted when I heard but Jess and Craig made it clear what the situation was and where they stood. Sympathetic while also honest and direct. Fortunately found my way through it and for the rest of the purchase, it went very smoothly. Jess was great at facilitating communication and providing updates, which helped enormously. None of this is a given, in my experience but it was certainly highly appreciated.

GoogleWe have bought and sold through MG North finchley twice now over 5 years. We''ve chosen them because they've always been able to show us the homes we like (they listened to our needs rather than just showing you anything within the price range), they've also managed our sale professionally and efficiently (managing risks throughout the chain rather than just the part that concerns them). Our experience with the North Finchley office is that Craig, Jess and Kyri are an open, transparent, helpful and efficient team (no BS). They helped us sell our house during a tricky time in the market and also find a great new home which I know we'll be happy in for many years to come.

GoogleWas on the phone earlier to a letting agent from this agency enquiring a property as me and my daughter are trying very hard to find somewhere to live and the agent was extremely rude and horribly inconsiderate over the phone when discussing my yearly income. Very unprofessional, thanks for not helping at all , not everyone in London is a millionaire :)

GoogleHad an AWFUL experience with one of their agents - Gergana, who proved to be the worst you could get. Lazy, incompetent and with zero respect/consideration for people's time, especially when those people are looking for a flat. I viewed a property (not with her) and after my meeting, I was communicating with her, asking questions via email regarding the place etc. SHE TOTALLY IGNORED ME. Chased her on the phone, but she did not even remember who I was (after calls and 2 emails sent) and what the questions were. Then after she provided some very lazy and effortless answers as she couldn't be bothered to disturb the landlord, I submitted my offer for the flat. I got completely GHOSTED!!!! After some days, I chased her on the phone, noticing that the property had been let. Once again, she had no clue. She had to dig into her inbox to find my email and then she started to lie and make excuses just to get out of the situation, treating me as if I was stupid. I have had it and I brutally gave her my piece of mind. I am so sorry for this business because while I am sure some people really work hard and try to provide a good service, people like Gergana just give such a bad image of it... a VERY BAD ONE.
