When I started looking for my first home I was told it would be one of the most enjoyable experience I would have which led me to believe it would be fairly straight forward... This turned out to not be the case for me and quite possibly may have been one of the most long and stressful processes I have ever been through, However I cannot fault Wendy @ Northwood throughout the process, for reasons way beyond her control the purchase of my first home took ALOT longer than expected but true to her word Wendy was constantly keeping me 'in the loop' with what was happening with my purchase. Excellence customer service from both Wendy and Victoria throughout what was a 'tricky' purchase. They were super helpful whenever I had queries for the vendor and were persistence in looking for solutions. Having met Wendy when viewing the house for the first time, I quickly learned that she was really approachable and her genuinely friendly personality shone through which helped make the long process more bearable. I would happily recommend Wendy and Northwood Tyneside as a agent when looking to buy a house! Thank you once again!!!!

After searching for a long time in Newcastle I think I have viewed houses with every estate agent . Hands down Northwood are the best I have used . The people who work there have excelllent local knowledge and really listened to my needs and not only showed me matching propteries but gave me ideas on what was achievable and what others has done to develop similar homes. They were flexible and able to arrange viewings to fit in with my busy timetable. The two agents I directly met were Victoria and Wendy. Both were fantastic at thier job. If I was selling a house I would want these two on the job! Many thanks for your help.

I have rented a property managed by Northwood Tyneside on behalf on my landlord for almost 5 years now. The staff are all absolutely lovely and through the course of my quite long tenancy I have therefore had the pleasure of speaking to most of them. They are flexible in their contact, both using email and phone calls, as well as working round me to carry out any inspections/jobs, which suits me great as I have a demanding job. I rent an apartment in a gorgeous listed building, which is lovely but as it is quite old inevitably I have had a few maintenance issues over the years. Here I give particular praise to the wonderful Laura at Northwood who is always prompt in keeping in touch if I have an issue and tireless in communicating between myself, the landlord, the building management and contractors to get things sorted ASAP. I quite simply cannot thank her enough. I have rented with a few companies previously and had no where near the level of service I get from Northwood. Highly recommend, keep it up Northwood Tyneside :)

This is a complete joke and not a professional real estate agency at all. They do quite bad at advertising or even staging the units to be sold. They are so dumb and stupid. I bought a flat that needed tons of repairs even though they promised to give it out in good shape. Imagine buying a place and not receiving full keys. They claim they had no idea about the key situation. I think people who are please here have no real comparison to this stupid company. I lived in north America and such agencies would go bankrupt in one month. I even feel bad for the seller because the unit could have gotten extra money if they did their job right. Surprisingly the person who handled my case was the branch manager (or claims to be), leanne threw multiple fits when I wanted to have the unit checked in before i purchase, she has zero respect for buyers. She needs to learn how to do real estate from professionals. Stay away and go with other firms. You will lose money with both ends with them. Update: notice how the praises only come from reviewers with 2-3 reviews on their account. Stay away from this company

Superb

From start to finish these guys have been nothing less than superb. Personally I find moving home quite a stressful experience with all sorts of bumps and turns on the way! From the get go the team we're attentive and informative with everything I needed. Can't really ask for much more but I feel they really did go the extra distance when taking us through the process making sure we fully understood everything in terms of the agreement, but also making sure this was comfortable for us. Every new home you will find will have teething problems or bits and bobs that need sorting. We first moved into our new home with northwoods a few months ago and the response has been amazing. There were a few things in the property that needed sorting and by no means a small or quick job. After speaking to the team they sorted things in a matter of days with no hassle required whatsoever. I would totally recommend using Leanne for your house sale. I had particularly difficult circumstances of an ex abusive partner who essentially was squatting in my home and made it difficult every step of the way. Maintenance issue

I had an ongoing problem with my heating and hot water, which was very frustrating, especially with the weather getting very cold. I had to have multiple contractors out to problem solve and sort the issue on numerous occasions across a number of weeks. Laura Cheetham of Northwood Tyneside was brilliant throughout...she was patient and listened when I was frustrated at the situation, she continually updated me via email and voicemail (even after office hours on a Saturday!), she was tireless in chasing up contractors and arranging visits, liaised efficiently with my landlord to get decisions made quickly, and overall was lovely to talk to through what turned out to be quite a complex issue. I work full-time in a demanding job and Laura ensured everyone worked round this for me. She was also very genuine and I trusted her to move the situation forward as she clearly wanted to help resolve the issue not just as quickly as possible but correctly to avoid future problems. An asset to your company I cannot thank her enough as I sit in my now warm and cosy flat with hot water aplenty.

Throughout the process of buying my first home Northwood were very good at helping make things straightforward. Their friendly, service-with-a-smile attitude made them very approachable. The sale nearly fell through as it did drag on, however this was more the fault of the seller than the estate agents, who worked hard to contact him as best they could. A Great Viewing Experience

Wendy was on time and gave us such a friendly greeting. She knew lots about the house and showed us round to begin with before letting us wander about and ask questions. I have been renting a property through Northwood for 4 years and the service I have received from them has been very professional, respectable and sincere.
