GoogleWe recently instructed Charters Farnham to sell our property and we were very impressed by the quality of service provided. We found them very professional, proactive and efficient. We had a number of viewings prior to our house having a full marketing launch and a number of offers were received. We accepted an offer on our house just over a week from launch, having previously been on the market with another agent for 6 months. Henry, Emily and Matthew are very friendly and helpful, they really understand buyers’ needs and are very good at communicating feedback and ensuring things move with pace. Henry responded to all enquiries very quickly and was always available to help, often out of hours. We would highly recommend Charters Farnham especially for being very proactive and super efficient, and for their professionalism and great communication throughout. Matt Newman came around to the house and gave me excellent advice about the current market and pricing strategy. The very next day he had organised my first viewing which quickly became a second viewing, conducted by Matt on a Sunday. The buyers made an offer which Matt negotiated, resulting in them paying a price I was very happy with and allowed me to secure my next home. They cancelled our viewing within 40 minutes of it happening when they knew we was travelling far. But before they did that they tried to up the rent by 100 per month and engage me in a "bidding war" for a rented property!
Beware of these estate agents, and of all Estate agents for that matter.

We are sorry to learn that you are disappointed with the service you have received. We have tried unsuccessfully to contact you to discuss your feedback but, unfortunately, we have not been able to reach you.
By way of explanation, at the time of our last conversation, the landlord of the property in question had received an offer above the guide price, as a result of the viewings that had already taken place. Our client’s intention was to accept this offer and so, in the interest of transparency and fairness, our client instructed us to inform the remaining interested parties and to cancel the viewings, should they not be inclined to consider making a higher offer. We are obligated to carry out our client’s instructions and we wanted to avoid wasting anyone’s time.
As it transpires, the property is now re available and we would be happy to reschedule the viewing, should this be of interest. In the meantime, I hope we have managed to reassure you as to our best intentions but please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss this matter further.

She took great notice of all the details of my tour of the property, this helped her when showing potential customers around the property. Being a first time buyer, we didn't know what to expect. The property we found was being sold through Charters and dealt with by Tim.
Throughout the whole process we were kept up to date by Tim, helped with any queries and questions (of which i was always responded to extremely quickly) and overall made the whole experience of buying a house enjoyable and stress free!
If we ever decided we need to sell (hopefully not too soon) i would definitely use Charters!
