This review isn't really about a sale or purchase, it's a more general service based one. The agent came initially to value my flat; I'd only accepted the offer out of curiosity in case I fancied moving at some stage. He went through the flat and made his valuation along with giving a list of things thati might either help the value or sellability. Then I mentioned a plan I'd had to try to move into property investment. Without the prospect of a sale he sat and patiently talked me through a number of aspects of the property market and pointed me in the direction of a number of resources and people who might help and talked through the pros and cons of various strategies. As a result I've bought two buy to let's since then. I can't speak highly enough of his knowledge and integrity. And assuming he is representative of the company rather than just a stand out, they would be my first choice and recommendation in future.

I've been a buy- to-let landlord for some while and when it came to letting out my father's property we approached Moginie James, as they were local to the property. From the market appraisal, to the production of marketing materials, to getting the property on-line and a board outside, everything was done very efficiently. Most importantly, the property let, to very suitable tenants, within 3 weeks - for pretty much the monthly rent they had assessed and so we were very pleased. We received a text message before each viewing and feedback afterwards. They were also able to arrange an Energy Performance Certificate very quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I consider myself fortunate in having dealt with Moginie James as both buyer and seller. These guys know no bounds when it comes to excelling in customer service, out of hours - no problem, days off - no problem. Whatever it takes to make the process as smooth as possible is all they think about.. Friendly and approachable is clearly a company requirement. What impressed me most was when a minor mistake was made (and we're talking tiny!) hands were held high in accepting the error, for me that sort of honesty goes a long way.

Super efficient service , they came to visit the house on the same day as asked and within 24 hours it was advertised and a really good tenant found with days ( even though it is a quiet time of the year ) They have the contacts that landlords need to get good tenants quickly. After selling our home, we quickly needed to find a rental property. The team at Moginie James enabled us to find, view and move into the property in just one week. As we'd always been home owners rather than tenants, we appreciated the fast and efficient way they took us through the various stages of the reference checks, tenancy agreement, payments etc. Even the rental board was quickly removed after we moved in.
