When deciding to sell our home earlier this year we chose to use the Estate Agent Belvoir. We had considered online agents but felt a traditional agent would be better for us due to the fees being paid on completion. Jamie Bennett came out to do a valuation and explain the processes and fee structure, which we thought was very reasonable and competitive. My wife and I were very impressed with his punctuality and professionalism, and general friendliness when dealing with our inexperience. Jamie then booked in for the photos and returned with a very impressive camera system that captured fantastic images of our property. Once all pictures were done the property went to market and we very quickly had a number of interested parties. We accepted a full price offer 3 days after the house being on the market. Jamie even talked us through the positions of each of the buyers to help us make the most informed decision. Once we had accepted the offer we then began dealing with the Belvoir Move Manager Natalie Painter. Natalie was very helpful and courteous, and kept us updated on everything that was going on with the sale. Additionally, Natalie also kept us updated with the whole chain, and when some of the chains solicitors were having communication problems, she stepped in to keep the whole process moving. Had it not been for Natalie I think that we would not have completed before Christmas, or may have even lost the whole sale. Due to delays my wife and I had decided to break the chain for our onward purchaser ourselves, but Natalie still spoke with our purchase chain to give us updates on their progress. Being honest we had more updates from our Agent than the sellers Agent. Once we got to completion Natalie gave us all of the information we needed to make this as seamless as possible, and even provided suggestions on who to contact post sale to ensure all relevant parties were updated. Again very helpful as there were several we had not considered ourselves. Overall the service provided by Belvoir was exceptional, especially from Jamie and Natalie, and should we have need of an Agent again in the future we both hope that Belvoir, Jamie and Natalie would be there to help.

Sad to be leaving our belvoir property

We recently moved out of our flat we was renting with Belvoir and the experience from the start to the end has been amazing. When we first viewed the flat just over a year ago with Tracey we felt she was very professional and a lovely lady. We decided to take it that same day and all the staff that helped us through the renting process were amazing and made it go very quickly and smoothly. The flat itself was immaculate when we moved and the whole time we was there if we had an issue with anything Belvoir was only a call away and their service was always outstanding. We decided to move as we wanted somewhere a little bigger and we’re now renting with another company but only because they had what we was looking for at the time of moving but I can say we’re missing Belvoir and there outstanding customer service. The check out with Jo Jones went smoothly and I have to say very fast. She was very fair and we’re happy to say that we’re getting our full deposit back :-) She kept us up to date with the report and the next steps. I highly recommend Belvoir and it’s been a pleasure renting with them , if we ever move again we will definitely have our fingers crossed we can rent with them again. Belvoir were fantastic from start to finish with the sale of our property in Basingstoke. They marketed our property excellently and the agents that showed prospective buyers around were so professional, friendly and were able to achieve a quick sale for us. After the sale was agreed, our move manager Natalie was brilliant in guiding us through the process and ensuring all sides kept moving from solicitors to buyers and the onward chain. I honestly don’t think our move would’ve happened anywhere near as quick if it wasn’t for Natalie chasing things up. Brilliant service. 100% recommend and would definitely use Belvoir again in the future.

Best letting agency I have used

From the start of our tenancy two years ago, working with Belvoir has been the perfect letting experience. They were accommodating to multiple viewings, not pushy and happy to work around us with regards to move in. Their attention to detail and courtesy is second to none. During the tenancy every problem was handled quickly and the team even managed to organise a replacement washing machine while we were out of the country. They gave us ample notice of any inspections or works to be carried out and every contractor was polite, efficient and friendly. Their standards are incredible and I will use their standards moving forward into any future tenancies. The checkout process was a dream. Jo Jones was incredibly knowledgable, prompt in her responses and Helpful. Her comprehensive review of the property and fairness in assessment resulted in a speedy deposit return. They truly do look out for both tenant and landlord in a fair and agreeable way.

Feedback of letting process and staff

Just moved out of a belvoir managed rented property - been a tenant of the property for nearly 4 years. I have nothing but positive experiences from the whole of the belvoir team. Online maintenance service is very easy and effective to use and the couple of minor things I needed were always dealt with promptly. Check in and check out process handled by Shahida was very efficient and helpful too... It would only be fair to break this review down into the key stages: The pitch and marketing - Mathew comes across as sincere and professional, not pushy, very competitive rate, does everything to stage your home for the right pictures, even came back to take a picture of the outside when the sun was shining. Property was advertised in all major and minor locations as standard. The sales process - great at getting folks to come see the property, had an arrangement where Belvoir simply emailed/texted the viewings and if we couldn't have them happen at that time simply respond with a proposed alternative. However as someone who likes closed loops, there were many occasions when we felt a subsequent follow up communication or a weekly summary would have been that extra stars worth. The sold to completion process - What can we say, Natalie was superb, talk about dedication, pursued the chain, communicated up and down, simply brilliant and the star of the group for sure.

I have been under the care of Belvoir lettings for about a good year and a half. Previously we were under a different agency who left us in the dirt constantly having to fix our own issues most of the time, we weren't even informed that Belvoir was taking over until Belvoir themselves told us. However since we have been under their care i can only sing praises especially Jo who carries out our inspections and is always friendly and proffesional aldo Kate whi has managed the rent payments very efficiently. Overall experience with Belvoir has been a positive one from a landlord's perspective, quick to react to maintenance issues, good on communications, quick with finding new tenants. It was generally stress free with their management. Key strength is maintenance coordination, when it comes to maintenance they do a superb job in coordination. Special mention to Shahida on a recent fence renewal work done, great on communications and updates. There is some room for improvement when it comes to installing new appliances, warranty registration, new manual scanning all has to be prompted instead of it being taken care of proactively.

Belvoir has managed the letting of my flat for around 15 years now and has always provided a great professional service with a personal touch that I have found is part of their company culture. The maintenance department in particular (Sandra Draper now but too many to mention in the past, thanks Helen!) are so proactive in getting things done, recommending cost-efficient replacement products from website searches and even going down to the local Argos or similar to buy a new bedside cabinet or mattress. Belvoir makes sure the tenant and landlord are both fairly treated and always acts promptly and with good, detailed communication. If a tenant changeover is necessary I have found that the letting department handles this promptly and keeps me regularly updated. I live in Australia so the personal service and attention to detail are particularly welcome for me. Highly recommended.
