It would only be fair to break this review down into the key stages: The pitch and marketing - Mathew comes across as sincere and professional, not pushy, very competitive rate, does everything to stage your home for the right pictures, even came back to take a picture of the outside when the sun was shining. Property was advertised in all major and minor locations as standard. The sales process - great at getting folks to come see the property, had an arrangement where Belvoir simply emailed/texted the viewings and if we couldn't have them happen at that time simply respond with a proposed alternative. However as someone who likes closed loops, there were many occasions when we felt a subsequent follow up communication or a weekly summary would have been that extra stars worth. The sold to completion process - What can we say, Natalie was superb, talk about dedication, pursued the chain, communicated up and down, simply brilliant and the star of the group for sure.

I have been under the care of Belvoir lettings for about a good year and a half. Previously we were under a different agency who left us in the dirt constantly having to fix our own issues most of the time, we weren't even informed that Belvoir was taking over until Belvoir themselves told us. However since we have been under their care i can only sing praises especially Jo who carries out our inspections and is always friendly and proffesional aldo Kate whi has managed the rent payments very efficiently. Without making this too long i just want to thank the aformentioned for such great service is truly a pleasure on our side to be managed by such a great team hopefully for many years more. Overall experience with Belvoir has been a positive one from a landlord's perspective, quick to react to maintenance issues, good on communications, quick with finding new tenants. It was generally stress free with their management. Key strength is maintenance coordination, when it comes to maintenance they do a superb job in coordination. Special mention to Shahida on a recent fence renewal work done, great on communications and updates. There is some room for improvement when it comes to installing new appliances, warranty registration, new manual scanning all has to be prompted instead of it being taken care of proactively.

Belvoir has managed the letting of my flat for around 15 years now and has always provided a great professional service with a personal touch that I have found is part of their company culture. The maintenance department in particular (Sandra Draper now but too many to mention in the past, thanks Helen!) are so proactive in getting things done, recommending cost-efficient replacement products from website searches and even going down to the local Argos or similar to buy a new bedside cabinet or mattress. Belvoir makes sure the tenant and landlord are both fairly treated and always acts promptly and with good, detailed communication. If a tenant changeover is necessary I have found that the letting department handles this promptly and keeps me regularly updated. I live in Australia so the personal service and attention to detail are particularly welcome for me. Highly recommended.

I was a tenant in a Belvoir (Basingstoke) property for three years. Throughout that time Belvoir have been professional, reasonable and courteous. The team are easy to get hold off, and have been excellent in keeping me up to date with any relevant issues affecting the property. There were a couple of times when the property had plumbing issues, and Belvoir were very quick to provide assistance. All necessary work was completed promptly, by capable contractors. Furthermore, on leaving the property Shahida (Belvoir property assessor) completed the checkout report, notified the landlord, and released my deposit within 24 hours. I would definitely recommend them if you were looking to rent a property in the Basingstoke area.

We have been with Belvoir since they first opened in Basingstoke. In fact I believe we were their first clients ! We have had extremely good service throughout that time, and even when we had the one and only bad let,Mike's wife Laura was able to sort it out quite quickly. The tenant had disappeared off to South America somewhere and couldn't be contacted, and so Laura managed to track down his mother, who spoke no English, and through her Spanish lessons liaise with her and sort the problem out rapidly ! We have four one bedroom houses; three in Basingstoke and one in Hook, and Belvoir always communicate with us about any problems before they go ahead and get the people in to sort them out. This gives us peace of mind as we are 'kept in the loop' at all times. We would highly recommend them to others, and have done. We wish them all the best for the future and look forward to being with them for many years to come.

Based on my previous experience I always had the management through the same developer but when I expanded into Basingstoke market the developer didn’t offer a management option so I shopped around for a management company for the first time and chose a couple potentials. From the beginning Belvoir were very responsive and offered competitive rates. Carole specifically worked with me and was a tremendous help in the handover process. She communicated everything clearly and thoroughly. Very responsive with emails. After teaming up with Belvior they spared no time and found a tenant within 2 weeks we singed and the new flat was leased. A cut above the rest

Mike Jones, Andrew Lowery and their team are excellent - be it Kirsty in Maintenance, Kate in Admin, Jo and Shahida in inspections / check outs and Tracey in lettings negotiations. They are certainly a cut above the rest and not the normal letting agents that can be grouped in the same pool as used car salesmen, lawyers and politicians. They are always prompt to respond, do not rip you off and Mike/Andrew gives sound and fair advice and certainly goes the extra mile. I trust them explicitly which is of paramount importance for me as I am not living near by where I can "pop round" to sort out problems myself. Mike and Andrew keep me abreast of legislation - which has become a pain of late (not them, the legislative changes!). As a consequence, I have been dealing with Belvoir Lettings (formerly known as Redwoods Lettings) since 1993, first looking after our original home which we subsequently let when we moved from the area, then sold (again through Redwoods/Belvoir) and in 2014/15 bought a number of additional properties in the area which Mike vetted for us and turned around onto the lettings market with minimum voids. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Unfortunately for us we hit the market at the wrong time, just before the snap election was called and as a result people were being ultra cautious. Despite the fact that it took longer than expected to sell, Matthew and his team did not give up and found us a great buyer in the end who offered very close to asking price. Not only that but we felt that they did a good job at steering the sale through the whole process, from the acceptance of the offer through to exchange of contracts and we were really grateful for that as there were a few scary bumps along the way for us.
