I have been travelling many places for job reasons for long term. Tenancy terms are always a bit hectic when you leave the house specially after years. With Belvoir, the vacating formality really eased out with trust and they are very co-operative in terms of quick and smooth settlement. Carole, Shahida and Kate were very kind and helpful throughout my tenancy period. Maintenance department was quick and prompt in resolving the issues. And last but not the least, Jo who was amazing in getting deposit related formalities completed with Happy settlement :-)

Belvoir have been absolutely fantastic in supporting the sale of our home in Basingstoke. We initially purchased the house eight years earlier through Belvoir (Redwoods back then) and we had the same manager look after us which was awesome! Matt is a real asset to Belvoir and we cannot rate him highly enough. He is always on time and doesn’t push the sales pitch. He just provides good, honest advice! We had 3 other estate agents out prior to Belvoir all on the same day and Matt was by far the most reassuring and competitively priced. After agreeing the rates etc Matt was able to take the photos there and then! The house was online by the next working day (morning) and we had multiple viewings and sold in juts over a week. Matt, Emily and Natalie were fantastic and communicated with all parties in a timely manner, always taking the time to call regarding updates followed by a text or email to confirm viewings etc. This was absolutely brilliant as we could easily identify when to be out of the house. Outstanding after sales care

The first time i moved house 3 years ago i used a well known online estate agent because of their low fees, once the house was sold they we not interested and i was left to deal with pretty much everything turning it into one of the most stressful things i have ever had to do. This time around i decided to pay that little bit more in hope that i would get a slightly better service but didn't actually expect the amazing service i did get from Belvoir. The Sales team were honest from the start and worked quickly to get my house on the market, what ever they said to the first viewers obviously worked as it sold within 24 hrs. What i think really sets Belvoir above the others is the care and attention they give to each and every customer from the time you sell your house to the day you move, Tasked with this job is a lady called Natalie who is a massive credit to Belvoir and without her constant contact with myself, my solicitors, my buyers, their solicitors plus all other parties that were involved i do not believe we would have completed as quickly as we did with pretty much no hiccups, she took 90% of the stress out of the move as you were never left wondering what was going on and if there was anything she could do to chase she was straight on it. For Natalie alone i would recommend Belvoir to anyone who would listen. Thanks Belvoir and special thanks Natalie ;-)

We were very pleased with service from Belvoir Basingstoke on our recent flat purchase. Requests for viewing appointments were handled and confirmed promptly, sometimes at short notice. We only viewed 4 properties (2 with Belvoir) so our search wasn’t protracted. Negotiations were handled quickly and professionally. Although with no chains or mortgages involved it was not a complicated transaction, Belvoir’s involvement through to completion was always friendly, polite and efficient. I would be happy to recommend them to other buyers and, based on this buying experience, would certainly consider them if I was selling a property.

Throughout the sale of my flat, Natalie has kept me informed at all times about the sale and contacted me at least once a week. She has been in touch with the buyers and their solicitor and with my solicitor. I really appreciated her help in arranging for the contents of the flat to be removed and for contacting the concierge to ensure that this went smoothly. Me and my husband have never had any problems with the service we receive from belvoir so would highly recommend them to other people. Laura and Kate have always been great help and resolved any issues straight away that we’ve had. They also knew that we were looking to move from a previous estate agent and downsize, as soon as something came available that suited us, they let us know which we really appreciate as we are now very happy in our new home that is much more beneficial for us. This is the second time that we have rented a property through belvoir and we are glad to be back and know we are in safe hands! Myself and my husband David thank the team for everything ☺️

Belvoir Basingstoke, very professional and friendly throught out the sale and purchase of our property. Matthew was very helpful giving us information about the whole buying and selling process. Excellent service throughout our purchase

On our first viewing Brian Neville showed us round the property and as we were new to the area he took time to show us the local amenities. He was at the house the whole time our removals men where unloading our property until we could get there. We were well informed throughout the buying process, in fact Natalie, their Move Manager, provided more information than our own solicitor. The whole team were excellent, I can highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

Local professional reliable letting agents who really care.

You won't find a lovelier, friendlier lettings team anywhere in my opinion. As a landlord trust that my properties will be managed well on my behalf is key to my dealings with an agent. Having had 3 properties let by Belvoir in the space of a month I continue to be impressed by their professional and caring manner. Nothing is ever too much trouble and their attention to detail in check in/checkout is reliable and precise, something which is of the upmost importance. I had been a land lady for last 9 years and I had Belvior do all the management side of things for me. Which the lettings department was just amazing. Always kept in contact with me with anything and always kept me upto date. I have now sold my house and again the sale department was amazing too. At the start I dealt with Jamie and then moved onto Natalie and from start to finish they have all been so good and made it so easy for me. From start to finish, Matt and the team have provided a 1st class service. Polite, approachable and friendly, I wouldn't hesitate selling your home with Belvior. Myself and my partner purchased our first property through the Basingstoke branch and they have been excellent every step of the way. They have been extremely helpful in all aspects and have responded to our emails and phone calls in good timining. The staff have been helpfull with great knowledge and advice in matters myself and my partner did not understand. Say one thing and mean something different or avoid saying anything at all, leaving you to pay for the consequences later. Our experience with Belvoir has been awful, despite being the perfect tenants having passed every inspection and improved the flat since the tenants before. They have charged us an extra weeks rent and keep delaying the refund. We moved in on the 16th of the month but were charged a full month from the 16th until the 8th of the following month (4 weeks rent for a 3 week tenancy). When we tried to ask why this had happened and proposed that we gain that week back at the end of our tenancy, we were dismissed with emails saying that's okay. Only to find out later that it was not okay and that we would be charged an extra weeks rent. Despite specifically telling Belvoir to get in touch if they didn't understand our proposal (which they clearly didn't). Their awful communication lead us to not leave the property until the 16th. And of course we could have moved out on the 8th and not been wrongly charged for that week in the first place!!! The directors, Andrew and Mike clearly don't understand the concept of having incompetent staff (Kate - who comes across very rude on the phone and face to face) and just reject everything you say - "I reject that." very frustrating people to talk to and an incredibly upsetting company to deal with. It's a circus. Absolutely disgraceful considering the ridiculous fees you have to pay for their inadequate services. Avoid at all costs

We chose Belvoir as they were recommended to us by a family friend. From the moment we met Jamie, it was a very friendly, but professional welcome. Having met with two other Estate agents, decided that we preferred Jamie and Belvoir to sell our house. Having discussed our hopeful sale price, we were advised by Jamie, that it was probably priced a bit high, let us try and get the best deal. But alas having reduced the original asking price, Jamie was actually correct in his estimations. All the staff are friendly, helpful and to name only a few, would like to personally thank Aaron, Keith, Taylor one of the receptionists and of course Jamie, who I telephoned for advise, with anything regarding the sale. Nothing was too much trouble. Also Keith who showed buyers around our home, locking up afterwards, with a professional approach to detail. Particularly the move manager Aaron, as well, for the speed he had working with the solicitors. I have already recommended Belvoir and wish them all well, but most of all, thank them for putting up with difficult buyers! How they do that is beyond me!

We have recently sold our house with another agent but Belvoir sold at the top of the chain, which was of 5 properties. We were property number 3 in the chain so this is quite an unsettling position to be in due to what can or cannot happen at either end during the process. Matt, the Manager, from Belvoir took on the role of keeping all communications along the chain going, he had permission to add all the agents, solicitors, buyers and vendors into this weekly feed. We found this extremely useful as during this process you would have no clue as to what progress is taking place with anyone else or if it is you and your solicitor that may be holding things up. As it got closer to exchange Matt ramped up the communication and expedited the last bit of the process. We would like to thank Matt for doing this and to easing the stress of selling and buying a house, we feel that he went above and beyond his duties.

Trust me, choose Belvoir. I made the mistake of choosing a big brand like Carsons who quite frankly are awful. The provide zero customer service and little updates - I did all the chasing. In fact I felt like when I called them I was in the way of them doing other things. Here's the kicker... despite not choosing Belvoir to sell my house I did buy one from them. Matthew Smith (Basingstoke branch) still updated me and every time he knew more than Carsons, you know the people selling my house!!! Thanks Belvoir for filling Carsons void in my sell and making my buying experience fantastic . Upon collecting my keys I was greeted and made to feel welcome, trust me this company (Belvoir) is all about customer service and making the experience better - they gave me a lovely house warming gift with lots of goodies to help my first day. Seriously, choose them. Don't make my mistake and be sucked in by big brands like Carsons who's manager visited me (nice guy) but then never to be seen again and handed me over to miserable sods who quite frankly don't care. Had I chosen Belvoir the guy who sold it to me would have seen it through from start to finish. So that's a tip for you, if you choose a company by the person ask if he will handle it from start to finish. Thanks Matthew, wish I chose you to sell my place but thanks for a great buying experience.

Only that I have left UK, my over 5 year relationship with Belvoir had to come to a soft closure. Belvoir Basingstoke is an absolute joy to work with and I have had an excellent experience for over 5 years. The staff is very helpful, professional yet friendly and are always there to assist. Whilst I do not know the entire team at Basingstoke, working with Jo Jones from the inventory section, Kate Shore and Laura Jones from the Admin section and Helen from the Maintenance department has been an absolute joyful experience. At no point has this team let me down when it comes to any issues / questions etc. I strongly recommend folks out there looking for properties or letting in Basingstoke to reach out to Belvoir. We weren't dead set on moving house, however we found our perfect home via Belvoir, Jamie took us round and we decided to put in an offer despite having not sold our place, our offer was accepted subject to selling our property within two weeks! - Jamie was great, we went on holiday and passed our keys to him to work his magic - on the 14th day we managed to sell our property and our offer was officially accepted. Despite the fact that the rest of the process took longer than expected, through no fault of Belvoir, Matt provided us with weekly updates from the acceptance of the offer through to exchange of contracts which was fantastic and kept us at ease!
