We entered into the rental property market for the first time with a certain amount of trepidation and visited many letting agents for advice. We found Mike at Belvoir Basingstoke to be extremely patient and knowledgable and found his advice invaluable, with regards to capital outlay and rental yield. Along with guidance on the correct properties to buy. Although our questions must have seemed relentless, Mike was always there to answer them without hesitation. It only took Belvoir a matter of days to find quality tenants and secure the right one for us and our properties. It has been several months since we bought our rentals and we have found the service to be first class, with regular updates with regards to how our tenants are doing and the condition of the properties. We would highly recommend Belvoir for all your Letting requirements.

Friendly staff that make themselves available whenever needed. During the past 3 years we rented through Belvoir and I was constantly surprise by their ability to resolve any issues promptly and efficiency along with their due diligence when following up on any historical issues.
If you are moving to the area I cannot recommend this company enough. We personally dealt with Sarah Smith and again I recommend you ask for her by name as she prides herself in making the transition of moving home as painless as possible.

When I was first looking for a property to buy, Mike at Belvoir was recommended to me as someone who would give me an honest opinion which he did. He spent a long time with me explaining which areas to look in and types of property and it was based on his recommendation that we bought a cluster house in Lychpit.
Because of his approach initially along with the care that we received from Belvoir when we were buying the property, they were our first choice to help us manage our first home as Landlords.
We met with Mike and his team on the Saturday and had a tenant by Wednesday that week!!
So far the whole process has been stress free as they do all the hard work and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to new or experienced Landlords.

I am shocked by all the negative reviews about Belvoir. My experience at Basingstoke was totally the opposite. I experienced an excellent service from start to finish. I used them for Tenant Find only. Mike provided lots of valuable advice on all sorts, answered all my questions in full and gave me plenty of his time. The references and credit checks were carried out and a suitable tenant found and set up effIciently. I feel very happy with the service and would recommend the Basingstoke office with no reservations whatsoever. I can only conclude that as Belvoir is a franchise there is a variance in the service throughout the country.

Many thanks for this Stuart. Originally, this post referred to Aberdeen for some reason and it slipped through the net, so we didn't see it. We are all individual franchises and, therefore, there may be a significant variation in the manner in which various shops are run. In Basingstoke, we strive to be fair, transparent and honest in our dealings with all and I sincerely hope never to see genuine complaints written on this, or any other site, about anyone's dealings with us. There is one negative review about us, but it genuinely is a case of mistaken identity and we are hoping that the reviewer will revisit his comments one day and realise his error and correct it. Elsewhere online you will find many further positive reviews of Belvoir Basingtoke.

Carole, showed me around a property to rent in Hook. She was so lovely, ease to talk to and very helpful. Wish that Belvoir had more properties on their books in the Hook area, as if they had we would have definitely gone with them.
