GoogleWorked with Jennifer Elliott to sort a rental to relocate from Nottingham to the North East. Great service Jennifer worked really hard to sort everything out for us and an do electronic contracts and organising us our refund after the companies scrappage of tenants fees.

GoogleI'm a landlord with Reeds Rains and since October 2018 its been back and forth with multiple people to try get my property let since the tenant was evicted. Twice they've returned funds for property cleaning and still no progress to start marketing it and its now June 2019. Time to find a professional agency, clearly they need to management.

GoogleWould not advise anyone to rent property with Reed's Rains...the landlord does not respond to maintenance issues!!! Phone calls emails total neglect..had problems with leaking boiler took 3 months for a reply .plumber spent almost 3 hours at the property and still wasn't repaired. The state of the living conditions left us no choice to rent alternative accommodation as well as paying the rent to the original property as we were tied to the tenancy agreement until end of this month...we now have to wait for the inspection to take place to decide whether we get our end of lease security deposit!!!! Absolute disgusting how they treat their tenants
Thank you for your feedback but unfortunately we are unable to authorise the release of the deposit or end your tenancy agreement early without the consent of the Landlord. Despite Reeds Rains offering to resolve the maintenance issues, the Landlord advised us that they would like to resolve the maintenance using their own contractors and therefore we had very limited involvement.

GoogleAbsolutely useless rent properties out in bad state of repair all they bothered about is getting there money then they dont want to know repairs 3 months in not done! Dont want to know. Honestly absolute Joke stay clear of REED RAINS so months in mice everywhere, loose taps, doors dont shut worst estate agents. Personally I'm a landlord myself and I would be ashamed the way they deal and treat tenants it's all about money how much they can make I will upload pictures of what they rented out I was working away and had to come see this for myself why my wife was so upset DISCUSTING THE STATE OF HOUSE THEY RENTED OUT!!!! They have a saying: Reeds Rains Estate Agents Durham City are always on hand to make sure our customers have the best experience possible. Should state: Reeds Rains Estate Agents Durham City are always on hand to make sure our customers have the best experience possible until you sign the contract then we dont want to know as long as we get our money.
We apologise that you have experienced some difficulties with the property. Unfortunately Reeds Rains do not manage this property and don't deal with repairs, the maintenance issues are dealt with by the Landlord. GoogleAny doubts and scepticism I might have had regarding estate agents has been completely dispelled by all the Reeds Rains team whom I came in contact with during the sale of my property particularly Gemma Sweeney who was the main negotiator. There were some unexpected difficulties during this process which took time to sort out. At times I became despondent but Gemma was a STAR, always positive, always encouraging and her willingness to go that extra mile to sort out issues along with her excellent communication and negotiating skills helped me through this stressful process to a positive outcome. A big thank you to Gemma and to Lucy and all her team in the Durham Office.

GoogleThis is the second time that we have used Reeds Rains in Durham to let our property. Overall we have found the staff at Reeds Rains [ Stacey, Jasmin and Jennifer ] to be most pleasant and efficient Reeds Rains found a tenant for us very quickly . Despit some last minute hick ups with the Gas Certificate which was sorted out the same day , everything went really well.

We were very lucky to sell our house straightaway - but this wouldn't have happened without Reeds Rains getting everything right - the description, photos, price and so on. They were also a very reassuring and knowledgeable presence through the whole process between selling and moving. Would recommend, without hesitation.

GoogleI would Highly recommend Reeds & Rains in Durham, especially Stacie, Jasmine and Jennifer, they have always been polite, always willing to help and understand my needs. From the very first day I told them what kind of tenant I was looking for, so they were more than willing to do their best, they actually found my ideal tenant and they are more than happy in their new home. They didn't stop there, they arranged for energy certificates to be updated, insurance if I needed it, at no time have I felt pressured to say yes. Absolutely more than 5 stars *****+ Well done girls

GoogleA really great experience,in particular, Lauren and Dan could not have been more helpful and easy to deal with.They both went above and beyond.I wouldn’t hesitate in using Reeds Rains in the future and would gladly recommend them to friends and family. However,my experience with the recommended solicitor has been far from ideal,which is a shame as it has ruined an otherwise positive experience.

I know there were a few difficulties towards the end of the sale with some legal issues that cropped up as they sometimes do, unfortunately the conveyancing world can be a a bit of a headache for all involved but they have to ensure everything is correct to protect you as their client but we got there in the end! GoogleI’d like to thank Reeds Rains and in particular Clark who was our main point of contact for delivering us an excellent service. We had a difficult tenant who failed to co-operate in the most basic terms such as answering phone calls or messages. Once we had given the tenant notice, he refused all communication and would only respond through his solicitor - which on a low value rental seemed a little extreme. Clark took everything in his stride and provided consistent and solid advice throughout. His amicable manner ensured the tenant was always kept informed in a fair and consistent way. Above all he kept us informed throughout. Having gained possession of the property, Clark was very efficient at valuing the house, putting together sales information and securing a buyer within the first week- the whole process was efficient and easy- massive thank you for your time and commitment

GoogleHad a fab experience buying and selling through reeds rains Scarborough, Lauren was fantastic, nothing too much trouble, sold our house full asking price in 5 days. Used their recommended solicitor Murry Hills, fast, efficient, approachable also modern thinking!!! They don't mind doing things by email, also easily contactable. Would highly recommend the full package.
