We were selling my late father-in-law's house and, since we live 200 miles away and have no close family in Hull, it was essential for us to find a good, reliable local Estate Agent. We did our research and Reeds Rains gave us the most confidence, so we chose them - and are very pleased that we did. Steven Goforth prepared a really attractive write-up, and the video tour was also impressive. Our main contact - Natalie Williams - was excellent and professional throughout, keeping us informed of developments and reassuring us when things seemed to be going slightly off-course. The only fly in the ointment was that Reeds Rains insisted on using the word "complimenting", rather than "complementing", in two parts of the description - "complimenting gardens" front and back and "complimenting work-surfaces and tiles" - and we just could not persuade them that, in fact, the customer was right on this occasion! But that is a very minor niggle, and we would not hesitate to recommend Reeds Rains.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

A BIG shout out to Zoe Pannica for looking after my flat. I was with another agency just around the corner from whom I’ve had very poor communication, poor support, broken promises, totally outdated photographs, excuses, having to wait for particular people to be in on a certain day, tenants contacting me directly, poorly placed advertisements in their own portal which isn’t immediately obvious and critical errors on the Gas Safe Certificate, (which were quickly picked up upon by Yourmove). I decided to give Yourmove a try as things couldn’t get much worse with the previous agent. It was a positive start, and for one who doesn’t hand out praise for the sake of it, I’ve had nothing but excellent communication, regular updates and they found a tenant in a very reasonable period and their advertisements are quickly and easily found online. The difference in views between Yourmove and my previous agent are 6 to 1. Outstanding. My confidence in Yourmove and especially Zoe, who I mostly deal with, is growing slowly but surely. If Zoe isn’t available then there always is someone else capable of handling my concerns. She may look young but she’s as sharp as a tack, runs a tight ship and is really on top of her game giving me sound advice and settling my nerves which has all paid off and now things are looking up. What can i say about Andrea and Julie, except absolutely fantastic. Dealing with head office has been a absolute pain at times, but Andrea and Julie at the Darlington branch are great and always manage to resolve any problems i may have and get things done when others seem unable too. Bosses take note!! Just wanted to add an update to say what an absolute star Andrea has been during the lockdown and closure of the Darlington branch. Again i had problems head office getting differing information from people regarding missing rent payments again and was getting nowhere, so i rang Andrea to see what options i had for escalating the matter as the local branch was closed, Andrea took ownership of my problem and it was resolved within a few days and my rent payment was received. Just as i feel i have given Your Move there last chance Andrea restores my faith in the company. Once again thanks Andrea.

I have just purchased a house with Your Move and Amy helped the process to go smoothly and swiftly. From the initial queries and visit, Amy reminded me to just drop her an email if I had any questions, which I did, a lot throughout the process, but she consistently replied almost instantly on every occasion. I felt I was always updated at each stage and whenever there was a change, as well as my mum who was informed throughout too as I sometimes work night shifts meaning I struggle to get in touch through the day. It was quite daunting being a first time buyer so young but I felt I had support from Amy and the team the whole way through and they were able to answer any questions I had as well as give much needed suggestions. I also felt that the team were very consistent with chasing up the vendors and solicitors which ensured the process went as quickly as possible. Very happy with the service I received, and a special thanks to Amy.
