GoogleWe had a great customer service experience in dealing with the Reids Rains staff in Middlesbrough and in particular the advice, professionalism and very friendly manner from Christine Newell. Our telephone calls and queries were always returned promptly. This culminated in the successful sale of our house. I would totally recommend using Reids Rains Estate Agents in future.

GoogleA gent from their office called Ted showed us around an empty property, he arrived on time and was happy for us to spend as long as needed. I would be more than comfortable should I sell a house in the future having Ted / reeds rains act on our behalf as the service that he supplied was excellent.

GoogleIt's been three months since my tenancy ended and still no deposit back. They made one attempt to charge what I would call ludicrous sums for cleaning and gardening - I made a counter offer - I've heard nothing for a MONTH. Avoid.

GoogleDue to this estate agent I ended up homeless with a child. After splitting with my partner and making them aware of this I told them as I was disabled I needed a letter with jist my name on proving I was the only tenant and howuch the rent was so I could take this to the job centre to be able to claim housing benefit in order to pay my rent. After several phone calls and emails (the nearest office was now 15 miles away after the closure of two local branches and I don't drive) I was still receiving correspondence with mine and my ex partners names on, which made it appear as though he was still living at the property so I couldn't claim housing benefit. This lead to more calls and emails and still nothing until they then wrote to me to say due to the fact I hadn't paid my rent that I had to leave the home my son and I had lived in for two years plus within two months, the date actually being the 23rd of December, two days before Christmas!! The treatment we received was absolutely disgusting. They also emptied belongings out of the house after I requested and was told I could have an extension on the date originally given due to illness and the time of year and they said they would contact me with a date to remove my belongings. I went with a friend to move things and they had taken a LOT of belongings and furniture without contacting me worth hundreds of pounds!

GoogleStay away. They are very unresponsive. As a tenant, i've had to make multiple calls and send multiple emails to get issues resolved. It takes not days, not weeks, but months for anyone to respond and resolve any issues. If you have a choice to go with another agent, do so and save yourself the hassle. Note, this review is for the Reeds Rain in Durham.

GoogleThese guys weren’t even my estate agent, they were my vendors’, but they were absolutely fantastic, from arranging my initial viewing at very short notice and giving me good advice at the offer stage, right the way through to reassuring me when everything turned out to be considerably more complicated than I’d first thought. They kept me, and my purchase, on the road throughout, and had contingency plans for what we’d do if things didn’t go the way we wanted them to. Hannah and Michelle were excellent, and I can’t thank them enough.

GoogleReeds Rains did an excellent job overall in selling my late mother’s house earlier in 2021. Zeta, Cathy and the rest of the team were energetic and enthusiastic at all points, both in getting the house onto the market, marshalling and accompanying viewings, then in finding buyers. Unfortunately the first three sales fell through, in each case due to the buyer withdrawing:- each time Reeds Rains secured a new buyer very quickly. After the third failure, we agreed a minor change in marketing approach, and again, a buyer was quickly secured, this time successfully. Charges were very reasonable. I have no hesitation in recommending their services, and would use them again myself.
