GoogleI have only ever dealt with Kate Tero at Wood & Pilcher Tunbridge Wells Branch but she is absolutely fantastic. If her colleagues provide even a fraction of the service Kate provides, I'd recommend Wood & Pilcher to anyone. She goes above and beyond, is super efficient and very responsive which is exactly what you need. She is also incredibly genuine, personable and lovely which makes the whole process more enjoyable - I wouldn't want to deal with anyone else now! 5*

Everything went smoothly and in an orderly manner, Wood & Pilcher is indeed a well organised business. Mrs Kate Tero followed us with professionalism, efficiency and kindness from her first contact to us regarding our request for a viewing to the final signature of the agreement, ensuring each single detail being covered with care and transparency.

GoogleViewed a property I was very interested in but was told incorrect information on basic details and simple queries re minor changes got a negative. I passed on making an offer. Was called back when property was made available again. Still incorrect details on the ROW but 'yes' to my questions above. I challenged on the ROW access - middle terrace next to end but the end terrace had ROW across the middle? Really? Agent got so rude I ended the call. Was willing to pay a good price, cash. Should have written to the owner to let them know how their sale was being handled. The first visit the same agent spent all their time on their phone and wanted a fast viewing as a Friday afternoon and clearly more interesting things to be doing. Unprofessional and insufficiently prepared to manage the sale.

We understand you had a number of specific changes you were hoping to make to this property , one of which was effected by the right of way across the rear of this property which was in favour of the neighbour having access across the back . It is not uncommon for this arrangement to be in place in older and period property and we believe the the information was correctly passed to you and important for you to know and understand its impact on what you were proposing . We were pleased to read you were given the opportunity to offer on the property and we are sure you were disappointed not to have your offer made in January accepted . We are sad to read of your experience on the viewing that took place and can only offer you our apologies .This is not the level of professionalism we would expect from any of our staff and we will be looking into this , whilst at the same time reviewing our training and guidance given on what we would expect from anyone conducting a viewing , so that your experience is not repeated. We do hope we can continue to help you find a suitable home and than you again for taking the time to write the review.

GoogleWe found that all the staff at Wood & Pilcher's Heathfield branch were extremely helpful & kept us up to date with the progress of our sale & chasing other agents & solicitors. Had lots of viewings & they did exactly what they said they would do. All the feedback from the viewings was available straight away. I would recommend them to anybody. Good value for the money. GoogleInitially a very promising agent. However, 10 weeks and only 1 viewing so I thought it time to change to someone else. Appreciate the market challenges but there is no excuse to keep to a notice period when you aren't performing. Especially when no viewing can happen during the majority of that period - as was the case. Very disappointed. How anyone can intentionally and vindictively hinder people desperate to sell their property is beyond me. Pleas for rational behaviour fall on deaf ears. Don't sign a contract with these people is my advice.

GoogleFrom start to finish the communication has been excellent. I received regular updates and they really kept on top of chasing people up to ensure there were no delays in the process. Ryan was the lead is most things but credit to all the staff who have been excellent in keeping me informed.

GoogleRyan from Wood & Pilcher was amazing from start to finish. Had a great understanding of the market and communicated to us throughout the whole process. We had a good steady flow of viewings and we achieved exactly what we were looking for in terms of price. Ryan really excelled after we had agreed the sale chasing solicitors and making sure everything was ticking along nicely and we got the exchange and completion done in a timely manner. I can’t sing Ryan’s praises high enough.

GoogleI have met with Mike Watkinson (Branch Manager) from Wood and Pilcher for property valuations on two occasions, once in 2022 and again in 2024. While my interactions with Mike were always pleasant, I have been consistently disappointed by the valuations he provided. In both instances, the valuations were significantly lower than my expectations, based on my own research. Consequently, I chose not to list my properties with Wood and Pilcher, instead opting for another estate agent who provided a more accurate and favourable valuation. Notably, I was able to sell my properties for £35-50k more than the valuations given by Mike. I advise anyone selling their home to be cautious and not take valuations from some agents at face value. It appears that some agents may undervalue properties for a quicker sale. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Wood and Pilcher for property valuations.

GoogleHaving used Wood and Pilcher to sell and buy properties previously, I had no hesitation using them again to sell a property. Every member of their Heathfield team is superb, very efficient and responsive. I had no issues at all, my calls and requests were dealt with very promptly, the sale process was very smooth, I couldn't ask for more. I would like to specifically mention Mike the manager, Tom who dealt with my property sale and Ryan who assisted when Tom was unavailable.
