Live at an Urban Bubble managed block in Birmingham. Electricity costs through the roof and management team refusing to do anything. Promise a lot, delivery very little for an pretty expensive rent.

I just moved into an appartment Briarfield Court on Whimberry Way in Manchester. The caretaker, Mark, has been very helpful, replied swiflty to phone calls and answered all my queries! Great work!

My deposit hasn’t been returned despite moving out 4 months ago. Andrew is unashamedly ignoring my emails at this point which is extremely frustrating. I’ve left the flat in a clean state and paid all the rent so I see no reason for my deposit to be withheld!NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

Albert House in Didsbury is always spotlessly clean! Mark is always responsive and helpful, he helped me to deal with my bike lock when I was having issues.PositiveResponsiveness

Absolutely awful. Trying to sell my home which is unfortunately managed by them. It’s taken weeks for me to get a response from them regarding a form they need to complete, no one answers the phone (I have called 32 times this morning), they are unhelpful and don’t answer questions. Someone actually told me she couldn’t answer my legal question because it wasn’t her department then went on to tell me she was the only one on the legal department She also told me I can do my own management pack, which I did, then told me she won’t fill in the LPE1 form without paying them £300 I honestly can’t believe how incredibly unhelpful urban bubble are and it goes without saying that I can’t WAIT to moveNegativeResponsiveness, Value

Two years into a case of them trying to sort out the fire safety and cladding within Radcliffe House and still little to nothing done. It has become a farce and has left myself and the other leaseholders stuck with no end in sight.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Value

I've been living in Albert House in Didsbury for a couple of years now and the place is always clean and well maintained. Mark is friendly and professional. I also really liked the addition of hand sanitizers, given the last year.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

No regard for client satisfaction or service. I have had my property with for nearly 6 years yet I can never contact the same person and now they been investigating my complaint for 4 weeks with no one accepting responsibility. Its a joke and definitely think twice before using them.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality
Hi Meena. We are sorry you feel this way. Our complaints procedure, which can be found on our website, allows us more than 4 weeks to investigate and respond to your complaint. We want to make sure we are not rushing our investigations and do our due diligence, for you. We understand this is now resolved. Please don't hesitate to give us a call to discuss. Many thanks - urbanbubble

If you ever see an apartment from urban bubble, whether they own it or just manage it, RUN AWAY! It's by far the worst managing company I have ever had to deal with. I lived in 2 properties managed by them in Manchester and both had the same problems: no care, noises, parcel stolen, cars broken into, bikes stolen, people going into the building,.... Also if your property group on Facebook is managed by urbanbubble, just expect them to delete anything that will make them look bad...NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Honestly the worst company I have ever dealt with in any capacity. Nothing ever gets done. I've lived in my flat for over five years and there are issues I've had since I moved in that they still haven't bothered to resolve. The worst of it is they just completely ignore your emails, phone calls etc. I've lodged a complaint with them which changed absolutely nothing. I would strongly avoid them if at all possibleNegativeQuality

Urban Bubble have caused me so much unnecessary stress over the past 5 months. We finished our 18 months tenancy renting one of their properties in Manchester. We moved out on 23rd September 2020, and only this week received our deposit back after going through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme. Almost 5 months later. At every opportunity during this process, Urban Bubble took every opportunity to push the deadlines and deter us. This is why we took it upon ourselves to use TDS. We moved out of the flat because we were buying a house, which is a stressful time. As well as this, I'm self employed so the current pandemic has also caused me stress. Moving out of a flat and getting a deposit back should've been a simple quick process. The fact it's taken this long and the sheer incompetence from Urban Bubble has caused me the most stress believe it or not. Every time I sent an email chasing them up about our deposit, they replied about a week later saying 'We're chasing it up'. All it would've taken is a phone call. As an experiment, I sent them an email asking for a refund on a weeks rent as we moved out on the 23rd September, and paid until the end of the month. I knew this was a big long shot, but I just wanted to see if they'd reply. They replied within an hour saying no. That shown me that they care more about taking money than actually showing respect to their tenants. The only saving grace is that they tried to get money from us for redecoration, and the TDS deemed their request unjust. I was so happy to receive that email as I don’t want another penny of my money going towards this terrible company. I’ve lived in a fair few properties over the past 10 years, and dealt with some pretty horrific letting agencies but Urban Bubble really took the mick with this.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

This is a review for the owners of this company's other company called stay Urbana which I believe has ceased trading but I want others to know what kind of people these are. UNTRUSTWORTHY PEOPLE WHO WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY. I paid a £420 deposit for a stay in April 2020 which was obviously cancelled. A few months later I received an auto response to an email I'd sent saying the company had ceased trading. I did however receive a response assuring me that a refund would be processed. This has not happened and now my emails are being ignored. No answer on the phone. I also filed through small claims court which was also ignored. What else can you do?Disgraceful and untrustworthy people. Whilst I sympathize with the landlords, keeping people's hard earned money when they need it more than ever is simply not fair. I wish you the unsuccessful future you deserve for testing people like this.

Received excellent service from Mark today who responded quickly and resolved the issue within ten minutes! Much appreciated. Mark also helped with an issue with our door, which was not unlocking upon fob entry, a few weeks ago. He responded promptly and dealt with the issue as quick as possible, informing us of the status along the way. Friendly, professional and efficient service. Glad to have Mark on site.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

I agree with the comments of the previous reviewer (Jason Stubington), the exact same thing happened to me. Please avoid dealing with the companies run by these owners. I didn't receive a refund for a booking with their other company Urbana Apartments. This has been a difficult year for businesses so gave them the benefit of doubt for several months whilst they gave empty promises of a refund. In hindsight, I now know they did not have any intent of returning the money paid to them. Shame on you if you are these owners and are reading this. I wonder how many other people are now out of pocket after dealing with these companies. Well done Jason for trying to get your money back after a breach of contract via the small claims court. I tried via my credit card company but it was too long after the credit company cut off period to claim it back (as kept getting advised a refund was coming from Urbana). For anyone looking to find out owners of a business, Companies House site is very useful. As a last resort, the advantage of various social media platforms means you'll also be able to find and politely message owners directly if your emails are coming from a generic email address. In my experience, previously ignored emails suddenly got answered after doing so, even if they were with further empty promises. It was worth a try.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism, Value

Shocking service been an owner of falt in a property managed by urban bubble for 6 years and have never spoken to and dealt with such cowboys. The building is not maintained and more worried about putting poxy benches in courtyards that resolving issues with the structure of the building.

Awful service! Worthy to offer an emergency number but when you need it, have to wait 40 minutes to get someone on the line and hear that it will take at least 3 hours to get someone to open the main gate. Why call it as emergency phone? It is happing the last two weeks, same problem. Should we park our cars outside to avoid it? For a company self called property management, surely that is not the right way to manage a building with more than 60 apartments.
