GoogleI have worked with Thorgills for a number of years now. I have found them to be on the ball, always pro-active in sourcing new tenants, providing exceptional referencing and structuring suitbale rent increases that are fair to everybody. Easily Brentford's best agent, perhaps thats underselling just how goo they are though...

GoogleStaff are very friendly but .....Be careful and ensure anything agreed over the phone is backed up in writing. A lot of the agreed details were changed in the contract, which required my eagle eyes to keep pick up and get changed. IMHO- This was very disingenuous. Unfortunately- i didn’t pickup all the agreed details that somehow got swapped in the contract.

GoogleSince management has looked into my orginal complaint, the young letting assistant will be given training and my reservation fee had been fully refunded. Hoping just a once off but satisfied with the eventual outcome of my complaint.

GoogleMy bad experience with Thorhills Chiswick began from the very beginning. Before I moved in the room I was renting, they had difficulties to contact my landlord (they need two different references) so they told me that I would loss my room if they could not contact him and of course, I would loss my deposit and the first month that I already had paid (£1400). Once they got the references and I was living there, different people moved into the property and did not let us know in advanced. A couple of times I was having dinner and all of the sudden someone opened the door and said "I am your new flatmate. Did the agency inform you about it?" And of course, they never did. I moved from the previously mentioned room a month ago and since then, I have been waiting to received my deposit back (£700). I have been talking to three different people (even the manager) and I gave my bank details to two different people, everything I could hear were excuses "We will send the money within 5 days", "I am on annual leave", "the manager is not here at the moment but I will definitely pass the message"... Finally, I received my money yesterday but this way of treating the tenants is completely unrespectful. Specially, taking in consideration that I always paid my rent on time and I looked after the whole property as if it was mine. All these terrible experiences have encouraged me to make this review to advise everyone. If you can, please AVOID this agency. There are plenty of them in this wonderful city 🙂

GoogleWaited for agent outside flat for 20” no one showed up. Called the office the girl on reception said she didn’t know what flat number it was so I could ring the buzzer. Don’t sell your flat with these agents the hung up on me and didn’t do the viewing unprofessional

GoogleExcellent service! Ed Walton is very kind and patient. He is so dedicated and you can see that he loves his work. He explained to us everything that we need in finding a nice home and even recommend a very good mortgage adviser. We appreciate it a lot specially for a first time buyer like us who needs guidance! Keep it up Ed and to the rest of Thorgills Agents.
