GoogleThis is the second time we have used Thomas Merrifield in Wallingford to sell a house for us. Both times have been excellent. This time we had David looking after our sale (although all the team are great). From giving a great valuation, getting an excellent price for us, finding a buyer, the process was smooth. We had a confirmed offer within 2 weeks. David was then extremely proactive in moving the sale along, in fact picking up things that really our solicitor should have done. 100% recommend if you are looking to sell your house.

GoogleMy husband and I couldn’t recommend David, Craig and the rest of the team at Thomas Merrifield anymore! We finally bought our first home in October 2023 after 7 months of ups and downs, and highs and lows. What ended up being a very drawn out process, with the chain breaking near completion and us nearing the end of our mortgage offer, was made as stressless as possible by the care and attention of both David and Craig in particular. Both were efficient, responsive, reassuring and kind at every step of the journey. Whilst we have no intention of moving anytime soon(!), we definitely wouldn’t hesitate in using Thomas Merrifield if needed! Couldn’t recommend enough and thank you ever so much to you all!

Craig and Tiffany from the Wallingford office were a pleasure and a delight to deal with, were 100% professional from start to finish and took the stress out out what can be a very emotional journey. Their knowledge of both the local market and current housing market conditions was absolutely invaluable in marketing my property. Not only did they manage to sell it for what I was hoping for in a very tricky market, but also found buyers who would appreciate the house and fit in well within its small community. A superb experience from a very grateful client.’

GoogleAs a tenant of a flat let by Thomas Merrifield, I'd like to say they were great agents! My partner and I rented the flat for over two years and TM were always polite and helpful when responding to problems. Repairs in the flat were dealt with quickly and to a high standard. GoogleWe bought and sold a house with Thomas Merrifield and they were brilliant. They got us plenty of viewings on our property and a good price. They also showed us around several great properties and helped us negotiate an excellent deal on our dream house. They communicated on all key issues in a timely manner and were very helpful in a long chain. They recommended an excellent solicitor too. I would strongly recommend them to anyone thinking of buying or selling.

There were several viewings within days of the property being put on the market resulting in a number of offers and an agreed sale at the asking price. They kept me fully informed at all times and always responded to queries and messages extremely quickly. They also recommended a very good solicitor. An excellent service all round - thank you!
