GoogleChris, Richard and the team at the Personal Agent are the best estate agents in the local area. They were brilliant in our sale from start to finish. We would highly recommend them.

GoogleTerrible experience. Total lack of respect for potential tenants and current tenant. Hustled and rushed into a viewing, given a ridiculous 5 minutes - estate agent managed to quickly gloss past any ‘dodgy bits’. 5 minutes is not anywhere near enough time to look properly and make informed decisions. The complete disregard towards us was very obvious. Just book another hour of your time at least, so that everyone has 10 minutes. Really not that hard. Oh that note the current tenant had obviously been given no warning and the agents just barged their way in before he had even returned home from work. Just embarrassing. After hussling us and giving all the usual estate agent ‘speel’ we then were left for over a week with no correspondance, despite chasing, to then be told the current tenant had decided to stay. Total waste of our time. Their complete lack of respect for our time means we will of course be avoiding them like the plague - if this is they way they treat PROSPECTIVE tenants, goodness knows how they treat current ones when there are problems. The moment we heard the property was agent managed that was enough to put us right off.

Dear Mr Mills, We are sorry to receive your 1-star review. We are the sales side of The Personal Agent business, and you’re your review is concerning our lettings arm which is a separate business. I have spoken to them though and please find their response below. I know you spoke to Bradley on Saturday, and he explained what had happened, but I would like to follow up in writing in response to your feedback. The landlord instructed us to market the property, so we carried out viewings 10 minutes apart. We received offers and put these forward to the Landlord. We were then informed by the Landlord that the property was no longer available and sadly we had to let people down. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused you and for wasting your time. I have tried contacting you a couple of times to apologise personally. Please do get back in contact with us as we would like to help you find another property and have the opportunity to show you the customer service that we pride ourselves on. Kind regards Cheryl

GoogleEstate agents quite often get a bad reputation for being untrustworthy and unreliable - just telling potential buyers or sellers what they want to hear, rather than the truth. But we found The Personal Agent to be the complete opposite. We had a couple of situations where our offers sadly fell through due to issues further up the chain and Chris and Joe really took us under their wing and we are so grateful to them for doing so. In the end, they were able to find and secure a property for us which was so much better than what we originally thought we were going to purchase and were fab throughout the whole process. Genuine, honest, knowledgeable, hard working and kind people, who really go out of their way to help you. We are hopefully staying put for a while now, but when the time comes to sell, we would wouldn’t think twice about using The Personal Agent again. Thanks again Chris and Joe - you’re superstars!

We bought our house from them 5 years ago and they were a pleasure to deal with then , when it came to selling the property we were only ever going to sell with them. They have exceeded our expectations and not only sold our property after less than a week on the market but also secured us our next home in that time. GoogleWe were very impressed with The Personal Agent, the key word being ‘Personal’. Over the course of our viewings we got to know the team and as a result they got a real feel for the kind of property we were looking for. We dealt primarily with Joe who was very proactive in suggesting properties and very quick at replying to any questions. They were also very accommodating when in came to squeezing in viewings to suit our availability. On a more general note, The Personal Agent had a strong presence in the areas we were interested in and seemed to have a relatively high turnover of properties with few coming back to the market. We’d like to thank Joe, Chris, Adam, Morgan, Sian and anyone else from the team not mentioned here for their help!
