Excellent quality of service from Sutton Kersh

I had to move house in a hurry and find rented accommodation. Not always straightforward. Jackie handled my initial enquiry in a manner helpful and polite. Abby then maintained that same ethos through viewings of properties and subsequent negotiations with landlords, even helping me to fill in the forms for credit and reference checks. I’m now in a position to move into a new home that I’m very happy with. Excellent quality of service from Sutton Kersh.

My daughter is heartbroken she’s 8 💔😩

Absolutely terrible! Meself my wife and daughter was ment to move into the property 17th (6days) after waiting weeks going through the application and checks to have our dreams shattered to be told 6 days before collecting keys that we can not have property as owner not letting them rent it 😂 bad excuse just wanted money. My daughter is heartbroken she’s 8 😩😢 I would not wish this on anyone please be aware. 0 star rating never mind 1

No Show After Petrol and Time Spent

I’m writing this review to express my surprise and disappointment with the service I received, especially since this was my first experience. I drove 20 to 25 minutes to the address, only to be met with a no-show. I had planned my day around our appointment, including another house viewing, which I ended up being late for. Additionally, I had to spend an extra 25 minutes driving to the Wirral, resulting in a total of approximately 1.5 hours wasted, time and petrol that could have been avoided. What’s even more frustrating is that I tried calling twice the day before to confirm the appointment, but my calls went unanswered. This lack of communication left me feeling disappointed and let down. I strongly believe that situations like this could be handled differently in the future by providing clear and timely communication, especially when plans change. Based on this experience, I would not recommend your services to others

Didn't tell me the house I was about to view was sold!

I had arranged a booking last week to view a property. Unfortunately they had no availability until Friday but I was all booked in. Yesterday on right move I happened to see that the property was now sold! No phone call or email from Sutton kersh to inform me of this and so I called today to check it was sold and why I hadn't had a call! I was told I would have at some point which I can't say I believe at all. They had the time to update right move and 2 days later still no call for me to tell me it was sold. I would have turned up to the property with nobody there. The woman then had the cheek to ask whether I would like her to look for other properties with them. No thanks, I won't be booking to see any properties with this estate agent. Absolutely appalling customer service.

**Review from a potential buyer’s perspective** I feel sorry for anyone who has listed their property for sale with this agency, because frankly, they’re terrible at this. The short version is they just don’t communicate. Phone, email, voicemail, rightmove/zoopla enquiries from credible buyers are seemingly ignored. I was looking at a house earlier this year. In a very fortunate position of being a first time buyer, no chain, and willing/able to say yes to somewhere I liked. However, I found no matter the day of the week/time of day, the phone rang out. Emails, voicemails, enquiries through listings sites made but met with radio silence. After over a week of trying, they finally answered the phone. However, I got wishy-washy responses in trying to setup a viewing. I was told I’d be updated, but found myself having to repeatedly chase with further (mostly unanswered) phone calls. Eventually the house was surreptitiously marked as sold STC - a buyer being lined up may explain the lack of responses to direct email and rightmove enquiries, but it doesn’t seem explain why they never pick up the phone. Where it gets interesting - the house then was re-listed, but they NEVER got back to me (I’d bought another place via a competent agency, thankfully.) Now if I was the vendor whose sale fell through, I’d be quite happy if the agency said ‘don’t worry about it, there’s another strong buyer lined up’, but no. It was listed for months after. The worst part is this is ongoing - one of my friends is currently eyeing another place listed by Sutton Kersh, and has gone through WEEKS of back and forward in trying to secure a viewing, despite having a strong MIP and all the other particulars. Three weeks of missed phone calls and unanswered emails. If you’re a vendor and you’re scratching your head why no-one is interested in your place, this is why! To Sutton Kersh: I was literally a ‘shut up and take my money’ kind of buyer who sailed through my recent purchase, but you didn’t give me the time of day, and your vendor lost out as a result. If I ever come to sell my place, I feel like I’ll do better with a post-it on the window or a corner shop than I would hiring you.
