Another day another incredibly unprofessional and questionable estate agent crosses my path. Maybe I am unlucky. Start with the positives: they found numerous potential tenants and showed the place to many of them in a short period of time, the financial checks were accurate. But unfortunately when it came to finalise the tenancy, Clear instructions were ignored, keys released without a valid contract, terms changed in the contract and agreed with tenant without informing me, and many more. So, 2 stars and I will never work with these people again.

Georgina has been nothing but utterly amazing. Her communication was faultless throughout and she made mine and my partners journey of buying our first house feel so much smoother and easier. Georgina understood what we were after when originally viewing properties with Spencer’s and sent us listings based off what we mentioned to her… we in fact brought a house she had sent to us rather then ones we were seeing online! AVOID: I am a landlord and used Spencers to find tenants for my property in Rugby. References were not carried out correctly, and i was essentially lied to about my tenants employment and family situation, its taken nearly a year of not being paid rent to get them out. My friend in Rugby who rented out her place with Spencers and had a similar situation where they completely ruined her property. I would highly recommend not working with them. UPDATE: In reply to the below response, I have now tried to call multiple times a day for the past 3 weeks, with no answer. My deposit is being held, with absolutely no sign the process has even started to get it back and zero communication from Spencers.

Have been trying to call since yesterday about a property for rent that me and my partner had fallen in love with. Everytime it just rings out then goes to voicemail no replies to emails enquiring about the property, no call backs, I called through right move, their number on the page of the property as well as Facebook and no reply at all. We are looking to find a place ASAP due to it not working out here and being rather aggressive in our area so really do need them to answer their phone. UPDATE: It’s now Monday still try to get in contact with someone and yet nobody is answering once again..

Rented the property with Spencer’s on the beginning of May. I was holding on with leaving my review until now, as I wanted to ensure that my feedback is truthful. Whole process has been quite stressful for us, as getting the properties in the current housing crisis is a nightmare. Emily dealt with us from start to finish & the service she provided was outstanding. Emily was extremely patience & answered all the questions we have had. We managed to secure the property that we wished for & everything went really smooth, despite of the rush I was in. If I would have a choice of who to rent with, I would definitely use Spencer’s again. We also came across Zak, who was very accommodating & made all the process going as quick as possible. The Spencers in Rugby went seriously above and beyond in helping me - for context some very important documentation got sent to my old address by accident (I had moved away a year before). The Spencers team helped me all the same, at no charge. The fact that they were well within their rights to ignore me, but instead chose to help speaks volumes as to the quality of the people here Would recommend Spencers Rugby in a heart beat; this office is staffed with genuinely helpful people, and if I ever move close to the rugby/Coventry area again I will absolutely be checking with them first

We personally dealt with Zak, throughout the whole process of moving, from start to finish. He was amazing and kept us updated during everything. The communication was very important for us, as we had been let down with this in the past, Zak, and Spencer’s agency, were available to us to speak to, and answer our questions, pretty much, all the time, and after the normal working hours! Until the end of our actual move, he was there for us, and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. I would definitely recommend this agency to anyone.
