I have recently sold a house through Sinclair Hammelton, Petts Wood and was extremely happy with their services. This was a probate sale, and I needed to rely on the Estate agents to do the viewings. They were careful to lock and alarm the house and draw the curtains after each visit, and even hid the post in a draw for me so it was out the way. They got to the house prior to each appointment to open up the house etc. In my opinion they knew the local area and its market well and were able to give good judgement and guidance on the house price and negotiate a final deal I was happy with. I was regularly updated on how they were promoting the property and the feedback from potential buyers. They photographed the property well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this estate agents or to use them again if the need arose.

Brilliant service throughout. Found us a buyer quickly and at the right price and took the time to really understand what we were looking for and know what our ideal home on the roads we wanted would be. When there was nothing available they went outside the box and got a property onto the market that fitted the bill. We literally would never have known about this place as it wasn't on the market. And the were patient, courteous and efficient all through the process too - even when emotions ran high! Outstanding work and we are truly grateful to all of the team for making our dream move happen.

Our sale finally was handled by Matthew who was a joy to deal with, from liaising with the buyers, our solicitor, buyers solicitor and down through the chain nothing was too much trouble for him. A great plus with Sinclair Hamilton was not having to show prospective buyers around, this was dealt with expertly by them.

Everyone at Sinclair Hammelton worked as a team and nothing was too much trouble. Scott Symes Sales Manager was particularly helpful and guided us through the quite lengthy process at times, as we had a few hiccups along the way. Excellent service and thank you. Of three agents we approached they were the most dynamic and came up with the best price for the property and their rates were the best too.

From the onset of our property search, we liaised with Matt at Sinclair Hammelton to view a number of property's eith our desired location. After missing out on a property slightly out of our budget I received a call from Matt to give me a heads up that they have just got a property coming onto the market which suits our criteria. We viewed it immediately and made an offer which was accepted. Throughout the process Matt constantly provided us with any requested information and updates on the process. We recently completed on a property in Bromley and had a brilliant experience with Sinclair Hammelton and in particular, Matthew, who gave us a really professional and wonderfully helpful experience. It was a brilliant experience working with Matt, going to viewings with him and getting answers to the questions we had (which was never too much trouble!). Matt communicated with us often and is a real people person and you could see he had developed really good relationships with sellers of properties, he kept us in the loop with things so we knew what was happening and when and so we felt in very safe hands. Its was an absolute joy and we highly reccomend Matt and Sinclaire Hammelton when purchasing a property.

After 9 months on the market and a series of "sales" that never reached exchange, I moved to Sinclair-Hammelton. The effect was immediate and their great team swung into action. 3 months later I completed. Throughout the process, S-H were efficient, kept me closely informed and a delight to speak to. You can't ask for more than that.

I have dealt with a number of leading agents and none of them have come close to Sinclair Hammelton. From the viewing to the point of picking up the keys I was always provided with excellent customer service. I was put first and no request was too much to deal with. The honest approach was evident from the start and this meant the transaction ran smoothly. The previous agent selling the property struggled for 6 months as their attitude towards customer service was poor. I asked for a viewing and was put off meaning they lost a sale. Upon being marketed with Sinclair Hammelton the property was sold to me within 9 weeks of viewing and that was with Christmas in between. I would not hesitate in recommending this agent to anyone looking to buy or sell their home. All my dealings were with Natalie Lazzam who was most helpful and knowledgable throughout the process. If only all things were as easy as buying a home through Sinclair Hammelton. Thanks to all the team and I look forward to dealing with you again in the future.

Our main contact was Natalie Lazzam and she was brilliant from our first viewing right through to the point of handing over the keys. Natalie took the stress out of the process by being easily contactable (including returning phone calls), proactive and knowledgeable throughout the process. Natalie and the team at Sinclair Hammelton clearly know the Bromley market extremely well and I would not hesitate to use them again.

We put in an offer which was accepted on a house that was for sale through Sinclair Hammelton in July 2016. The agents we dealt with were very helpful and in fact we viewed a few houses listed with them. After our offer was accepted we spent the next two months trying to arrange for a follow-up viewing as we progressed with the sale of our property. We kept being told "there's no rush, just get on with selling yours." Fair enough. Then on the 12th of September, the agent informed us another buyer had come forward and was willing and able to mov quicker. This was without any invitation to us to make a better offer or move quicker. My suspicions of the agent withholding the truth from us was confirmed when I recently discovered the sale was completed on the 3rd of October for a price that was £5k less that was my wife and I had offered. The sale must have already been in progress before the agent told us the truth as three weeks is too little time to complete the sale. Sinclair Hammelton may come across well but as a buyer I simply wouldn't trust them.
Thanks for your feedback Jeff. For the record your offer was accepted subject to you selling your property, and the property was removed from the market . A buyer that had seen the property on the Open Day previously, lost the house they were buying and came back to us with an offer, the offer was £5,000 less than your offer . We are, as agents legally bound to submit all offers to our client, In this instance as you were in a chain and were dependent on selling your property, our clients chose to accept the other offer as the other party were chain free, lived locally and had just lost another property, the buyers were in rented accommodation and had a tight deadline to work towards, hence the transaction was completed quickly. The sale to this party was not in progress until then, furthermore, there was little point in you viewing the property again until such time as your property was very advanced in the sale progress. You were not invited to increase your offer or given the chance to move quicker, as our client wanted the chain free buyer to proceed as there was less chance the sale could go wrong, they were prepared to accept £5,000 less as they wanted to move quickly. I hope this explains the situation fully

GoogleDespite multiple requests after having our bid accepted, this agency refused to take the property's advert down and continued to solicit further bids. Ten weeks after having our bid was accepted and near the end of the buying process, an unidentified person suddenly appeared and offered £40,000 above our accepted offer. When we matched it, they suddenly disappeared without offering any more. In summary, continue to look for other properties until contracts are signed and exchanged. (Has anyone else experienced anything like this with Sinclair Hammelton? Did the other bidder even exist?)
Hi Steve, thanks for your feedback, we did respond at the time this review was made however did not get a response. As stated at the time we would be more than happy to have you attend the office, where we can provide you proof of the other offer that was recieved, and its timing. It is at our clients discretion whether or not a property is taken off the market or not, in this instance the later offer we recieved was from a buyer that had viewed the property at the same time as you, but had only just managed to secure a chain later down the line. Unfortunately situations like this are unpleasant and distressing, but we are legally bound to put forward any offer recieved to our clients, it is then, ultimately, their decision on which buyer to proceed with.
