Rented under the agency for 10 months. Communication was high quality, with responses to emails being very swift. When commencing the tenancy the total of all the initial fees were quite high (as often the case with agencies), but processing of money was secure and well organised, which was reassuring. Whilst the administrative team efficiently use emails, key processes/events regarding the property were commanicated professionally in paper form. All in all, I found the staff friendly on my first and last face-to-face encounter at the office and always willing to help.

When organising to view the property we have been very happy with the service. After a few months went by we started to notice reoccurring issues happening with the boiler,oven and drainage system. There have been 2 occasions where we have had to miss days at work due to the boiler not working and both times been given 2 different times the landlord would arrive only to be told he was going to be later when we've called to enquire why he was late. Not helpful after the contract had been signed and I wouldn't use again.

We received excellent service from Knight and Rennie when they sold our home, we were always kept fully informed, given sound advice and nothing was too much trouble, making what can be a stressful process that little bit easier. Knight and Rennie also managed the letting on our property and again their service was second to none, communication between myself and all the staff was good, they dealt with every issue promptly and above all fairly. I would definitely recommend Knight and Rennie to anyone looking for a trustworthy service.

whoever has given this estate agent five stars should hear about my experience. I've called and e-mailed them to discuss putting my prperty on the market. No call back, no acknowledgment. I called into the Kenilworth office and my details were written down. no response, I've seen a property I am really keen on, which is being marketed by KR so again I called into the Kenilworth office. The blonde disinterested girl working int here firstly denied that KR were marketing the property. She did not suggest I try the Leamington Office, however I asked her to check. She disappeared to the back of the office came back and said "oh yeah.. right... it is Leamington". I asked for a brochure only to be told they don't have one, so I suggested they could send one to me. This was three weeks ago. Still no sign of it. So thanks, KR, I expect I have no chance now of selling and buying with you in time. I don't even know why there is not a chance to give KR a 0/5 because quite frankly that is all they are worth.

My partner and I have been renting for approx. 20 years combined and we have never had so many hassles as dealing with Knight and Rennie. We were renting and when we went to move in the house wasn't ready and i don't think anyone from K&R had even had a look around. It wasn't cleaned, things were broken or not working, and the landlord had left a lot of junk behind. We ended up having to clean the place and pack the landlords stuff up for him ourselves. When things stopped working all we got was stalling and blocking, and straight away quoting legal points rather than just fixing them. When you rent a place it is fair to assume the things should work. There are some good people there like Tamara, but the others leave a lot to be desired. My advice to any body renting with K&R is to read the contract really carefully and see what protections you have. You'll find the landlord is completely covered , the tenant has none. Think what will happen if something goes wrong. Response - Thanks for your reply Oliver. Whilst i was staying at that property I did speak with you and others at K&R repeatedly and they weren't resolved. Again i strongly urge people to check the contracts really carefully before signing with them. Also make sure you get everything in writing, don't rely on a conversation get it written down so you have evidence to protect yourself.

Having emigrated to north America, we asked Knight & Rennie to handle our UK house sale, whilst we were 4500 miles away and 7hrs behind GMT. From the point of the initial valuation (knowledge of the market was excellent), on to the early exchange of contracts and through to the sale completion, we knew Oliver, Andrew and the team were working on our behalf. The service was prompt, confident, professional and with some light hearted moments too. Bottom line is we would not hesitate to use them again and are very happy to recommend them.

We have recently returned to Knight and Rennie to sell our property due to relocation. Having used them to sell a previous property, we have been delighted once again with the outstanding service provided by the whole team. We were delighted with the initial valuation from Oliver and once again thrilled with the quick turnaround and sale of our property. From the moment Oliver came to give a valuation of our home, we knew we were in safe hands - the fees were clear and very reasonable, and the quality of the marketing material was exceptionally high. Even before the house was on the market, Andrew and the team in the Leamington office worked very hard on our behalf, and kept us informed every step of the way. We were particularly impressed by the prompt and useful feedback after each viewing, and especially by the way the house was always left spotless, even after five viewings on a snowy day! After we had agreed a price with our buyers, Andrew continued to keep us informed of the progress of the sale, and we completed on the day we were expecting to.
