GoogleChecked out how much it would be for storage, big mistake bombarded with calls and emails.
We are sorry you feel this way. When a customer enquires it clearly states that someone will give you a call to discuss. Due to how busy we are we do try to contact potential customers so we can ensure we have the correct solution for their storage needs.

GoogleOn the whole I found Safestore to be professional people with whom I had to deal with. Prices, with the exception of the insurance were reasonable. I have my own insurance and when I get the time I'll chubb them about using it to save me some coin. But overall, a great problem was solved by Safestore and I would not say a word agin them

GoogleFriendly staff. Great discounts available if willing to sign up for long term rent. Movers using several trolleys at a time when there which can be very annoying, especially when you see those trolleys loaded and just put aside waiting to be unloaded/taken to storage room. Spacious cat park area at back of the building, too.

GoogleVery bad customer service. I was met by a very rude lady at reception who was very unhelpful. She knew I had not used this service before and did not know exactly how the system worked but seemed more concerned to waste time by repeatedly telling me that they closed in forty minutes. When asking her where I would find a trolley to help transfer my belongings into the storage unit, she told me there "probably weren't any available" but would not tell me where to find them if one did become available. She did not explain to me how the lift system worked. Overall I feel if she had a different attitude from the moment I walked in the door and explained the system to me I would have had a much smoother experience.

Thank you for your score review for the Colchester store. We usually do operate a late night on Thursdays but sadly we have temporarily removed this due to the impact of COVID.
